As for the babies, they are still serving a purpose in the long run. Say those children died and their families (if they have them) were upset, evidently they would be correct? The world can offer nothing to counter the loss of that unique life, but The One who made that person could very well meet their needs. The only thing that can make up for a loss like that is God's love.
