View Profile I- I actually do though. The thing Zero posted isn't complex really, he just used the chain rule.
Chain rule?
I don't see any part there which I used the Chain Rule. I just used the constant proportionality(k) and then derived and integrated but I never used Chain Rule.

View Profile Calc is actually pretty useful
Using simple integration you can find the areas beneath curves really quickly, and simple differentiations can yield tangent lines and shit.

Yes. That is what Calculus is for. What I meant was, no one studies basic Calculus like this one in anything practical except only to apply it in more advanced topics like Engineering

View Profile To those that let it out another way, how do you do it? Throw plates? Shout into a pillow?
I throw my pencils on the floor.
I feel bad afterwards.

Pretty sure Zero is studying engineering.

View Profile Using my faint memory and a bit of googling, I don't think Chain Rule was used there.

Moving on to this thread, there's only few things that make me angry. Usually I try to understand what's making me angry and why I shouldn't be angry and instead try to correct it.

I don't have any reason to lie, I take calculus. Sometimes I mix stuff up (like I did now) but I definitely do study it. Here I'll even show you proof:
In this question I was asked to find the x coordinate of a maximum stationary point. Then in the second part prove that the tangent at x=1 passes through the origin. Then I was asked to estimate the area under the graph between points (1,0) and (3,0) using the trapezium method using two intervals.

View Profile Well, sometimes I groan (which is ill-advised I know) but I mostly keep it to myself.

Wouldn't groaning just make you more angry?
