I do both. It depends, really. If I think I can achieve something by letting my anger out, I will...though usually it will be at least somewhat thought through to get the desired effect. Doesn't always turn out like I want, but can be useful.
If I see not point in expressing my anger, I just suppress it and listen to some music. It goes away eventually.

And suppose they beat you? Does that make you even more angry then?

Woah, didn't notice this thread was a thing until... actually just look at the time I posted this comment, that is around accurate.
Anyway, I sometimes have trouble figuring out if I'm angry or not. When I really do know I'm pissed, however, I usually end up not thinking things through very well. As in, I'm not thinking recklessly really, but I somehow get incredibly confused and start blanking things out from my mind that are currently bothering me. Except the weird bit of it is that I'm not exactly blanking them out as much as I'm somewhat subconsciously convincing myself whatever I'm trying to remove from my thoughts is much more appealing than it really is to me in the moment. It's very hard to explain with just text, so hopefully you can understand what I'm saying here. If you don't exactly want to, that's fine as well.
I don't tend to take out my anger on others, but I'm just going to admit real quick that watching people get furious over something tends to be amusing for me, despite knowing how that is not a good idea to focus on. I guess when I'm "angry" I might be more inclined to not watch what I'm saying as much, so you could count that.

I'm sure a lot of people do. It's noticeable enough to me that I'd figure I'd mention it.

that's right, go piss in a bottle when you're angry then throw it at your enemy.

I usually take my anger and frustration out at other people.
I know, I'm trying to do something about it right now. I hate it so much O_o
