What kind of data is held on the servers you manage?

Well it's outside-facing, so it's whatever our customers put on them. Like I said from the beginning, my company rhymes with Bell...

But hey, good to see you. You returned for the same reason as I did, apparently.

You work in Hell? I guess those religious debates finally caught up to you.

That's pretty bad ass, Ash. One of the pieces of equipment I'm trained on uses blade servers, but unfortunately my unit uses the other, more practical equipment (which I prefer). I'm pretty much Comcast for the Army, but most of my work deals with routing, switching, and configuring and troubleshooting a call manager. You probably get a whole team of IT guys that you can bounce ideas off of to fix problems, which would be amazing. I get two other people equally as experienced as me while the other fifteen people play on their phones.

You also mentioned something about game-development, which is also extremely bad ass because I've been trying to do a lot more to get involved with that to some degree. Do you create all of your assets yourself as well as do all of the coding, or do you have some people that you collaborate with? I assume you use an engine as a basis if you're more into coding.

Well, I use Game Maker Studio. Been using some variant of Game Maker for 11 years now, so I'm pretty at-home there, but I'm totally amateur hour. I have only ever completed one project, and that was waaaaay back in 2005. Incidentally, the same year I joined here.
