As the group piled into the large helicopter, the pilot turned towards the two who looked like they were in command.

"So where do you guys wanna land? We got three locations that seem good to go into. The first being the main road leading to town, the second being a short distance east of town, and the third being fairly far away at a dock location where several boats are stored. Then you guys can go in from the port using one of these boats.

To help you decide here's a digital layout of the town and the surrounding area."

With that the pilot turned and pressed some buttons. A robotic looking arm descended from the ceiling of the copter with a tablet in its grasp. The tablet had a digital map of the town on it.

Cecile moves in closer to the digital layout and mulls over where they should go. She calls for Meredith and quickly gives her opinion: "I think we should go for the east of the town, keep away from being seen. Even if the fog conceals us, we still don't know what our super's power is."

Meredith cross her arms, pondering over Cecile's suggestion.
"If we don't want to be seen, it's best to split up into small groups. Keep the search party small. Probably, you, Bulwark and Magnus in one group. Vi, Izzy, and Amanita in the other. Are there any natural high points surrounding the town I can use?"

"I see high buildings over here and here," Cecile points to the locations where Meredith may use. "I suggest you take Draou with you. If you ever get spotted, he'll be your way out."

She turns to her other allies. "We'll split into three: Helmet, Shield and Sword. I take Shield, Bulwark and Izzy with me, we'll search for the family. Sword comprise Amanita, Magnus and Vi and keep the super at bay when you find him. You can decide who takes leader from you three but keep in contact. Helmet will be our eyes up top: Meredith, Draou and Frank will watch us; keep us informed."

"Any questions?"

Magnus listened to Cecile carefully, listening to who was in the sword group. Out of the three of them, he'd have very much preferred to not be the leader, so he pointed at Virachne, "I think Vi should be the group leader..." He said raising an eyebrow.

Glancing at her robotic hand, Meredith chuckled.

"I guess you're right, Boss, don't want to lose my other hand. How should we handle Comms?"

"Yeah actually, just one. Where would be the key location you wish me to evacuate helmet to if our position is compromised?" Draou responds to Cecile.

As Draou speaks, he flicks his wrist, almost as if he is trying to flex it. As he does this, he releases a penny sized rupture that he directs with his mind to slowly latch on to Bulwark.

Darn... I think that's all of them again. I hate doing this, makes me feel guilty for some reason... never mind, I should bother myself over it.

"We keep radio silent unless something turns up. Find the super, inform. Find the family, inform. You have been compromised or someone has been injured, inform. Anything that relates to the mission, inform. Anything else can be done later."

Cecile turns to Draou. "Right now, I suggest you take all high rise buildings as your next point if you must leave. Keep us informed if you move."

"Well, that's quite ironic. Helmet, sword and shield."
Behind frank, a red and black biker helmet, slightly bigger than usual, hovered above Frank rapidly with a silver propeller on the top.
"H.A.N.K. Helmet Automatic Niche Killer. Don't ask about the name.
"Now don't worry, this thing has weapons. I'm just not going to deploy them yet."
"I'll scout the skies with this thing. I'll be able to see everything it does. I'll talk to you guys if I see anything suspicious."

Draou shrugs, nodding to Cecile, "Alright, will do." Draou then pulls out his quarterstaff and begins examining it.

Something doesn't seem right to Draou, the staff appears almost bent... He refocuses, after that, it appears normal again. Draou sighs in relief.

Just my imagination I guess. I need to get more sleep... darn. Working on this project is really killing me.

Draou puts his quarterstaff away again, cracking his neck from side-to-side, feeling a bit stiff in his back.

"Oh Frank, you mind if I take a quick look at that contraption of yours? I won't tamper with it... that's a promise." Draou smiles, holding out his hand.

"I have better eyes than that fancy piece of junk, but I let you play with your toys, Frank..." Meredith mocked, while cuddling with her sniper rifle.

Noticing Draou's sigh, Meredith called him out on it, "Hey, you better be wide awake for this, I don't plan on dying on a cakewalk like this."

"I'm... fine. It's just that this weapon is more of a part of me, you see. If I feel the slightest bit off-centered, I don't feel quite as comfortable using it. I assure you my mind is perfectly intact for this mission. Thanks for your... concern." Draou narrows his eyebrows at the last sentence, grinning slightly.

Darn, I really need to get some time alone later. Being around these people can be exhausting.

"Sounds like ya'll have a plan!"

With that the pilot closes the doors on the chopper and lifts off. On the way to the town Draou slips a rupture onto Frank's H.A.N.K.

A few miles away their destination can be seen. A massive fog covers the entire area, no sign of the town can be seen inside. The pilot lands in front of the entrance to the town on the empty main road. Vi, Amanita and Magnus all leave the chopper.

The pilot then flies to the east of town where he drops off Cecile, Izzy and Bulwark.

Last but not least he flies to the docks outside of town and drops off Meredith, Draou and Frank.

The pilot turns and looks at Meredith. "Don't forget my bat!" He yells to her as he ascends back into the air.

Bat? What the hell is he talking about...
Cracking her knuckles, Meredith yawned herself.
"Now where is that bloody vantage point?" she asked Draou and Frank as she already began walking ahead of them.

Vi jumps down, Amanita and Magnus didn't really... fit for a sort of battle-strategy combo. "Let's be positive about this.." she thought to herself. Then she turned to the small group as soon as the helicopter left. "Well guys, it's better if we don't split. I'll go front, if I sense anything dangerous I'll be able to detect it before we see it... Just, walk right behind me". And then, she turned to the city and started to walk towards it, it seemed like a desert, but she won't let herself be fooled by the looks of it.
