It's good to try and being proactive but choosing Apex would be like choosing the easy way out. This is a new game and we should forget what happened last time. I'm willing to give him the benefit of doubt because I'm not okay with lynching whoever is most/least useful. I'd rather lynch an actual bad guy.

my main point wasn't that he has a useless ability (that was his summary of it), it was that it's attached to someone who apparently has no idea how to use it and doesn't care and I left it an open ended question as to whether or not anyone saw any utility in either the player or his ability. I mostly agree with this, lynching members who are least helpful/aren't active almost always backfires against us. That doesn't change the fact that Apex's way of playing is just frustrating and he makes it hard lol
I also agree with the idea that minimal discussion of what we do with our night abilities should be done here. We don't have a confirmed Avenger, so it's more important than ever that each of us be able to act alone with our abilities, even if that means potentially interrupting each others actions if necessary. Discussion should be done about the potential possibilities of each action everyone can do. Of course bluffing is a thing, and if anyone's confident enough to pull that off, that's good too.

Feel free to disagree though. _Ai_, you seem to be supportive of facilitating discussion, do you have any objections?

I probably should've emphasized this in my previous post, but it'll become significantly harder to bluff if we discourage discussion. I don't think bluffing is too risky (at least as you make out to be), and it's probably one of the better things we've got going for us that can reveal a mafia member.

It's sort of a trade-off in that aspect. We can discourage discussion but make bluffing harder, or we can encourage discussion and make bluffing easier but run the risk of letting the mafia know what we're doing.

Discussion is far more important IMO.

As for the discussion, Ihave to agree with Arch. Its literally the first day and we're already jumping on apex. Your reasoning is fflimsy imo because you're basing it completely off of last game (even though he'sbeing a bit aannoying now), something Arch advised not to do. I can see some of your reasoning but it still sounds like something a doombot/ultron would do because Apex is a prime target.

I agree that right now we shouldn't lynch, but if we had to Exile is making me rather suspicious.

Also, in terms of discussion, if we ccan't openly strategize for night then I'm not sure what else we can do this day save for wait on Cami's explanation for what Mantha said. I also wonder why Xate rreally pushed for me to post when it hadn't even been 24 hours since my last contribution.

If you're responding to me I didn't mention the previous game once in my initial post against Apex and only commented on it after he responded without even trying to defend himself. That's a huge leap away from "you're basing it completely off of last game", did you even read my post before jumping to the assumption that I'm acting suspiciously?

You're initial vote post. "He hasn't contributed much to the discussion" and its only been a day. I havent contributed too much either. Hes probably annoyed that we immediately jumped on him again and hes on the verge of throwing in the towel (Dont do that by the way Apex). It sounds like you're out to get him just because of his passive role and because you think he won't be of any use again. I get that his posts have been short but to be honest we haven't talked about too much except the decision whether or not to random lynch

I'm being asked this by alot of people so I'll just post it here: If 2 people die for the first time, Hawkeye has the choice of who to take BUT this choice will be made in the day when the deaths have already been announced so he does not gain any bias for having known this information ahead of time.


Also would like to announce that I'm going on a vacation for awhile but I'll be back on the 30th. I do not know if I am capable of updating the game and normally I'd leave it to a proxy, but its Christmas/End of the Year so if I go dark for the 2 days when the Day ends or if the Day ends before that, then just don't worry about it. I'll pick it up next year the soonest.

I just agreed with Error because it's truly the best thing we can do. Yeah he said it out loud.... but even like that is kind of a good plan and taking in consideration the other options it kind of convinced me. As for the lynch I don't want to jump on anyone just yet, like mantha mentioned it can backfire badly.

FYI I'm going to be inactive for likely a majority of tomorrow. I have to take a round trip flight in one day to a different state and won't have access to a computer with wifi for pretty much the entire day. So don't lynch me pls if I look inactive.

While I get not being keen on a D1 lynch seems to be all the rage here I find the level at which Ai opposed it seemed to be odd, or at the very least why was it only an issue after Exiles vote and not after mine or Smiles? I cast a random vote any nobody bats an eye, but when Exile casts an almost equally random vote for Apex suddenly the odds are to bad, yada yada yada.
I also don't get the whole making Apex the town head, this just felt like a ploy to make Apex sound more useful.
