WyzDM is right. I'm afraid I can't let you do that Nyarly. Being able to change your move removes the point of Initiative when you know which actions go first.
Also Ipman is a noshow so I am incurring his penalty...
The Party attacks!
WyzDM spends the whole turn picking himself up.
Ipman lollygags and attacks Hornet 3 for...a random 80 damage! (25/105)
Ipman also hits himself for 10 damage! (70 HP)
Nyarlathotep hits Hornet4 for...65 damage! (40/105)
Shadow, Ai, and Hash sneak off to steal some relics. They gain:
Shadow: Crystal Skull - This transparent gleaming skull does ABSOLUTELY nothing but if taken all the way to the end of the dungeon, is worth 4 Glory in itself.
Ai: Talisman of Friendship - If anyone (including you) achieves a Critical Attack in a Round, you instantly gain 5 LP.
Hash: Cursed Blade - Whenever you attack, you have a 50% chance of dealing double damage, and a 50% chance of dealing halved damage AND getting hit for an unblockable and unredirectable 5 LP. Whenever this blade deals doubled or halved damage twice in a row, you can have the option of discarding this relic.
None of the Hornets have fallen...they become agitated and concentrate an attack on Shadow for a whopping 50 damage! (22 HP)
Hornet Kill Tally (for XP):
Nyarly - 1
Ipman - 1
Relics Taken (can no longer get anymore):
Shadow
Ai
Hash
Room 5:
Mutant Hornet Swarm
HP: 25/105 hornet3, 40/105 hornet4, 105/105 x 3 other hornets ; Hornet1 and Hornet2 slain.
Glory: 2 for each Hornet slain
XP: 2 to the one who kills the most Hornets
Description: Hovering disgustingly at the size of an average human, these grotesque maggots on wings perpetually buzz around the dingy dimly-lit cavern, protecting their hive situated in the middle of the room. Taking down the Hive itself should not be a problem, but to even get to it you must deal with 7 of its elite warriors (named for the sake of convinience: Hornet1, Hornet2, Hornet3, etc.). They fly erratically and are armed with a stinger the size of a highly durable letter opener.
Attack: The Hornets each deal a piddly 5 damage, but their strength lies in numbers. They are limited though in intelligence, attacking only those who they perceive are a real threat to their own being.
In every Round, if a Hornet is killed for the FIRST time, any remaining Hornets will immediately attack the player who dealt the finishing blow. So for example Wyz and Shadow attack Hornet1 then Nyarly kills it next, Hornets2-7 will all attack Nyarly for 5 damage each. If another Hornet is killed that Round, the Hornets do not attack anymore until the next Round.
If no one attacks the Hornets OR no Hornet dies for the Round, the Hornets will concentrate their attacks on the First Player in the Initiative and attack for 10 damage insteald of 5 damage each as there is nothing disorienting them..
Setting/Event: Surrounding the Hive is a treasure trove of Relics from past adventurers. Unfortunately, destruction of the Hive means destruction of the precarious pedestal in which all these items are placed. So the only way to acquire some of these Relics is to acquire them during battle.
If a Warrior in this Room, attacks for 0 damage or uses the Finger Poke of Doom ability, they will also acquire a Relic which they immediately equip. Up to 1 Relic per person can be acquired this way.

Instructions:
- Each player picks 1 of the commands above and posts them in this thread.
- Attacks will resolve in the order of the Turn Order as stated above. Turn Order changes randomly every round.
- If at any moment the warrior deals a hit that kills the monster, the Room Event automatically ends and GP/XP is handed out.
- Feel free to use this thread to discuss whatever strategies you might have. Remember, you have to work together so, you might want to share the damage.
- Deadline for posting is
36 hours from now. Failure to post before the deadline will have you deal a random attack...and have your life points dwindle by 10 then + 5 for each successive misfire. Upon death, next encounter will scale to the party.
Good luck!
