The numbers in the brackets are the easiest, makes up most of the riddle, and we need tot think outside the box.

I'm bad at thinking in general though.

I wanna say that Error is on the right track. Unfortunately without a Key, finding a cipher is pointless. So he can't just whip out every Cipher known to man. Zero is kinda right; this is a really cheap cipher because its a really cheap riddle compared to the last one.

But the Key is in the equation. If you can discern it, you can figure out the Cipher.

What if he meant outside the box literally? Figure out the stuff outside the brackets first and then come to the brackets themselves?

Not exactly what I mean. But it'll do. For now.

The key could be whats outside the box, which ends up being the cipher for whats inside the box.

Do the letters correspond to their numerical place in the alphabet? Has anyone tried multiplying them like this?

I've got to get ready for work, so I don't have the time ♥

From what I've observed, the equation 3^2 * 2^2 and the letters {...} have the same answer, which is 36. I could say I could multiply those two and add it with *Y*, which I can assume is also a number (two digit number) in itself, but knowing that the final answer isn't a number, I'm a bit stumped.

36 seems like an interesting number though, does it have any relevance? The number of letters and the equation itself are more or less the same having the value of 36, if you solve, and count the letters.

*sees how you need a *CIPHER* and a KEY.*

... Well. I'm going to go do some research.

ErrorBlender, I played around with the Caesarian Shift Cipher and I think I may be getting somewhere but I'm not sure.
Basically I used another Ciphering tool to decode the newly scrambled letters that I got from the Caesarian Shift Cipher, and it turned into individual letters.

my head hurts.

i don't know where I may be going with this.

It's Xarra! Mustika's ArchNemesis!

Caesar Cipher didn't do anything right lol. Thinking there might actually be a key needed to use in order to actually solve it.

Xarra, you saying that other than the Caesar Shift, you went ahead and tried to use another type of cipher on top of it? O_O I feel as if thats getting too complicated for a riddle. I went caesar because it was simple enough for a riddle. Hmm..

OH LOL HEY.

Anyway I solved the equation as is, then tried to follow the numbers 36 as 3 and 6 separately since the CS cipher brings up a new bunch of jumbled letters.

BASICALLY I did this:
"Masldk" (Click to Show)

uraghskcmanz i was thinking i could spell something out but i ended up with nothing. I got unscramble those into words, but that's about it.

Then again there's the letter *Y*. Or "+ Y".
So I guess I could get the letter from there. I need to open up to more options here. Fck my headache.

I don't think it's too complicated really. Also, hewitt said that we can't get to the cipher without the key... though tbh i dont know how ciphers work
