Chi had her eyes wide open, and her face was much more pale than usual. She was sitting upright, almost every muscle of her, tensed up... A cold wave went down her body, as she realized what happened again.

She felt it but for mere seconds, after she left the scanner pod. This unbelievable pain, as like she was impaled...with a speeding truck. Even, now, just the memory of it, made her feel sick.

"Was that really what I've made them go trough then?" She covered her mouth with an opened hand, and slightly leaned forward, her eyelids started to tremble. Seriously...that was just few seconds for her, then the time travel occurred, while they... Nathaniel, Sora and Nil had to go through the whole duration of it, and god knows, for how long this pain would last... and for what reason? She hoped that she would feel better, after what she did...It didn't work...She felt even worse now...

"Are you alright?" Up to this moment, Aiko was rattling about something, that Chi didn't even listen to. Seeing her act so strange all of a sudden, he stopped and asked her this question.

She just slowly nodded her head in the response, trying to resist the gagging.

Nathaniel looked down at his now unblemished shirt, "So that all actually happened huh? It wasn't just a bad nightmare?" Nathaniel sighed and smiled at Nil, "Then it seems like this is the second time you saved my life." He chuckled hollowly, his mind still reeling over the sensation of just nearly dying a second ago and now being fine. He still remembered how cold and weak he felt. Definitely something traumatizing that was going to linger. Nathaniel stretched, "Well I'm going to need to take my mind off this so I'll be going to the kitchen. See ya guys tomorrow." He walked away and saw Chi trying to sit up. The boy quickly made his way over. "Hey Chi are you alright?"

"Merde..." cursed Pascale as she tried to process what Nil said. Rationale and logic raced through her mind, running millions of scenarios trying to find the answer to why this was happening to them and what the point of it all was. After a few seconds, every explanation she could possibly have boiled down to one simple answer.
"Connerie...bullshit!" she cursed again, this time seething in anger.

Hopping of the bench, Pascale began walking back towards the dormitories.

"Sorry, I need to be...alone for a while..."

Nil just continues laying there, letting his mind wander a bit. After a while, he pulls out his phone and dials a number.

"Hey, Frenchy? Mind talking with me a bit? Yeah, it's Nil, Kendo Club president. I'm in the courtyard if you wanna meet here, or I can meet you somewhere."

When Chi heard Nathaniel, she quickly rose her other hand, as if she wanted to stop him. After few seconds in this position, she slowly put both of her hands down, finally calming herself down.

"Now...Now I am..." She started off weakly "Funny...I was about to ask the same question...I heard you got hit there, on the field... I would help but... someone here decided to be way too overprotective." She slowly turned her head towards the bird, giving him a blaming glance, although smiling. Of course, Aiko had no idea what was that about, so he just kept staring, once at Nathaniel, once at Chi. "...Are you guys in cahoots, or something?"

"-Yeah no...that should go here-"
Frenchy felt her pocket vibrating. It was her phone. She answered and was greeted by Nil, the kendo club president.
"Hmmm, I'm not really busy at the moment, I can talk...can you come to the student council room?"

"Sure thing," Nil says. "Be there in about five minutes." He hangs up and rubs his temples some more, before sitting up, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, and doing a few stretches to wake his body up. Feeling sufficiently awake now, he heads for the student council room.

"Guess only in the way that your wellbeing is important." He winked at the bird, "Heard what you guys all did for me, I'm really grateful. Hope it went smoothly and you guys didn't get too hurt for my sake." Nathaniel stood there, looking at Chi. She didn't seem okay, actually the exact opposite. She seemed weak, her skin was pale and she seemed shaky and sweaty. He offered his hand. "Hey Chi, let me help you to your dorm. Or maybe to the nurse's, you should lie down on a bed."

Nil entered the student council room to see it was empty save for Frenchy who sat at the head of the table and Lyora who sat to her right side, head buried into her iconic book of notes.

"Nice to see you, Nil, what's this all about?"

He rubs his neck. "I was, ah, hoping to get to talk to you alone. Not that I don't always find your company stimulating, Lyora, it's just... Well, I don't feel comfortable talking about this with you here. I don't feel comfortable talking about it at all, but especially not in front of others."

"Oooh..." cooed Lyora, looking up from her notes, looking pretty agitated.
"Lyora."
The vice president sighed and closed her notebook, standing up from her chair and slinging her bag over her shoulder. Picking up the notebook she began to leave.
"Fine then...See yah later Frenchy...Nil..."
After Lyora, left Frenchy smiled.
"She's always been like that, like the older brother I never had...Now then Nil, I'm all ears."

"Well, yesterday, your aunt, Nurse, was at the Kendo Club. Since Ms. K was here today, I was wondering what was up with that. She asked some weird questions, and... well, last night, I had to bring in a sick student, and it felt like she was enjoying toying with me. I mean, she helped her recover, and I'm grateful for that, but she had me be the one to strip her. That's super uncomfortable, you know? And then she randomly shot me in the neck with what she said was an immunobooster, but why just randomly do that? Why not ask me, or inform me? I don't want her to get in trouble, I just want some answers on what's her deal, if you have them. I'd talk to Ms. K about it, but it's her sister, and she's my master, so it'd be even more awkward than this. You're the only person I can ask without her definitely getting in trouble, and without likely hiding stuff. I know it's kind of a long shot, you having info, but I have to rely on you for this. Sorry if it's a bit of a personal subject."

"What? No, don't worry about it... It's just been a..." Chi paused for a moment looking for the right word. "..."Stressful"...day. But now, that everyone else is safe and sound...so am I, really." She managed to break a smile. It was honest, yes, but it still didn't look too convincing.

Even though everyone was fine, and Nathaniel's presence soothed her in some...weird way, she still felt the guilt eating on her guts. When will this feeling finally leave her?

"You know what..." She slowly got up. "I'd kill for some good coffee right now...Wanna come with?" She asked, although adding shortly after. "O-or I could bring you some if you want..."

"I don't believe you. But," Nathaniel sighed, "I guess you'll tell me when you're ready."

He smiled. "Sure, coffee sounds nice. Why don't we brew some in the kitchen? I have some baking to do and would appreciate the company."

"Sounds like a plan, lets go." Chi's smile actually brightened up a little. "Im willing to trade my coffee, for one of your cookies, how bout that?" She headed in the direction of the kitchen, as always, being guided by Aiko.
