Another accurately thrown card, this time in Pascales lap, to play safe.
On the card:
"I hear the noise. We can converse later. I have a feeling that we will be stuck in a time hole if we don't find out the source."

"Sadly no... no one in any of my classes popped up." Sora paused his eating, putting his fork down for a moment, "This might just keep happening over and over, but there is probably someone doing this to us. I don't think it is some coincidence." Sora resumed eating his salad, finishing up his meal relatively fast. Leaning back in his chair, he waited for Vath's response.

Guess the answer was no... but the time skip was weaker this time, landing them in class instead of orientation. This was now the second time he was listening to this lesson, and he really wanted to find out why he keeps getting sent back, along with those others. Well in a typical video game... he wondered, to stop the spell you have to stop the caster... so he guessed he would have to find the caster. Preferably before dinner time too. He had a schedule to maintain.

#Class has ended.
#Players notice that the static seems to fluctuate, growing sharper and clearer the farther they move toward the park.
Walking with Chubs, Pascale rubbed her ears.
"This ringing is killing me...but nobody else seems to hear it except us...what the heck is going?"

Outside of class, Nil heads out... and notices the sky looks wrong. "Ok... something is very, very wrong here. I need to find those guys, and figure out if there's something going on with them as well. Like this damn static that's been in my ear all day..." He puts in an earbud, and finds a nice open spot to stand in, keeping his eyes peeled for the others he'd met. Maybe they'd have some more answers.

Pointing toward the park, he began to move his hands rapidly, trying to communicate. He made things simple enough that Pascale could understand the gist of what he was saying.
"I have a suspicion that it is coming from there. Might want to cover your ears. But first, we need to know if we are the only 2 that can hear this."

Why would someone... do this?! Gosh dangit, I never asked for a mess like this one. Guess I better just roll with it for now and deal with the darn headaches.
Waiting outside the door of class, Sora waved towards the 2 others walking out of the room he knew from the short meeting outside the school in an attempt to bring them over to the corner of the hallway.
Looking over at the hallway route to the park's location, Sora frowned as he went over in his mind the people he knew were stuck up in the mess with him. Counting how many he had already met, he began to get a bit worried that something much worse was going to happen.

Pascale sighed and put her headphones on turning the volume up to 75%.
So this...is happening now...
Pascale was getting annoyed with her companion, she didn't speak sign language or anything but he really looked like he was just playing around.
It shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
Pascale pondered further and looked out across the emptying courtyard.
"Maybe whatever has us stuck in a loop is making that sound."
Carefully, she strolled across the court with Chubs till the reached the end heading into the park. The sound was notably louder now, even covering most of her music.
"What do you want to do now?"

Nathaniel looked around, noticing the difference as he looked away from the park. Guess that's where it's coming from. He took his skateboard and began making his way there. He cringed as it got louder and clenched his jaw as he would just have to endure it. He squeezed the bridge of his nose and breathed, trying to get oxygen to his brain and dull the pain. The teenager shook his head a bit and then readjusted his hair as he got closer and closer to the park.

Chubs had read the expression on Pascale's face, but didn't say anything.
He just pointed toward a group of people. He also tried to tell Pascale that he did not like talking, but it was pretty awkward.
Maybe we can see if more people heard it. But if not, we can try and find the source ourselves.

Nil spots Nathaniel, and waves him over. "Yo, Nate. Lets talk for a bit, dude. I have some questions to ask you."
Feb 16, 2016 12:54 AM #1437934
"Hmm?" Nathaniel couldn't hear much over the ringing. "Oh Nil." He walked over. "Isn't the ringing bothering you? I really think whatever is causing these time skips are at the center of that noise. But getting there is going to make my ears bleed."
Feb 16, 2016 1:00 AM #1437935
"Yeah, the ringing is bad," he says, "but have you checked out the sky? I don't think it's supposed to look like a messed up television screen."

The fluctuating static evolved into a sharp ringing as the group entered the park.
Taking his advice, Pascale approached the group, waving her hand to introduce herself. She didn't recognize any of them.
In a near shot to get over the static, Pascale attempted to introduce herself.
"You guys here that too?! I'm Pascale and this is Bob! Maybe you could help us?!"

Nil notices the two. "Oh look, two more to add to the fray. Yeah, we hear it too, and I'm guessing the other three in our little group hear it as well. Which means you two also noticed the double time skip and can probably see that the sky is wrong. I've come to the conclusion that either there is some kind of malfunctioning time machine targeting us, or somebody slipped me some very nasty drugs and you're all illusions." Considering how things are going, it's difficult to tell how much of what he's saying is joking.
