At the sound of the words 'Black Widow', Chell let out a genuine chuckle. This man was testing her patience repeatedly; if only this was outside...
She although decided to pretend she heard nothing, and continue her search. Her eyes scanned the table, but found nothing worth of interest.
Suddenly another person joined them in the basement. He held up a notepad with the name 'Zach' on it. Fellow must have been a mute. It reminded Chell of somebody...
The woman turned away from the table and started walking close to the wall, carefully tapping pretty much everywhere. Chell was planning to cover the room.

"Oh me? It's Strazta. And the accent was given to me since birth." He grabbed his suitcase before anyone else could get close to him, "And I was sent he' to be the support of my gonna-be team. Which i think is all of you." Then he turned to Chell, who was touching the tables and said. "Chell? That's some pret'y rad name, and you've got som' sick skills there." He chuckles and smiles before walking to the staircase. Before stepping up the stairs, he turned around to everyone at the basement.
"I think 4 eyes on one room is enough for you guys to find somet'in. Ill be upstairs if anyone needs anythin'." He continued to walk upstairs and murmured "If any of you even need anythin', that is."
As he got to the living room, he saw a man just standing still on the middle of the living room, with a very serious expression. It seems like he was thinking of something. Really hard.
"He must be the one with the footsteps i heard earlier" But Straz ignored the guy and walked past him like he saw nothing, it wasn't really his business so he just went on, heading towards the kitchen which is connecting to the hallway. "With my keen eyes, im sure i'll find something here." He startd searching around his surroundings, maybe he'll find something useful. He thought, but somehow he was thinking of Chell. "She remin's me of me so much." he smiles and chuckles. "It's like she's a clone of me."

Team? Zach wrote down on a notepad the same query and showed it to Seven as he didn't know who the girl was, and he did hear a gunshot and the only one who had a gun was the girl. However if this team thing was true then he should be cordial. He flipped the paper over and wrote, "Hi, name?" And gave it to Chell.

"Team?" Zach was pretty naive to think he'd be able to do this on his own, but he seemed young. 'Yup, this whole situation is probably too big to take on by yourself, so banding together with someone else is probably the best way to survive. I did tell you this before, kid.' Seven sneaked a peek at the paper Zach gave to Chell, and before she could reply, said, 'Chell Stravinski, or in my case, Miss Stravinski. She's the murderous one that tried to blow a hole in my pants. I'm betting she'd go as far as killing her own husband if she woke up on the wrong side of the bed, so I call her the Black Widow. You know, the spider?'

Chell's wall and table tapping suddenly got interrupted when a figure posted itself in front of her. After a step back and a quick inspection, turned out to be Zach, the mute man. He was holding a piece of paper and it seemed he was handing it to her. Chell gently took the paper out of his hand and read it: Hi, name?
"Chell Stravinsky, sir." she politely replied, adding a small bow after it. She returned the paper to Zach with the same grace she had taken it. As she was handing the paper to him, Chell overheard Seven's comment. Without a moment of hesitation she leaped towards the table and smashed her fist on the wooden planks. The empty cartridge that she had placed there earlier jumped in the air, together with most of the other items in the immediate range of the impact. With a quick move she grabbed it out of mid air and, following through her motion, turned around and threw it towards Seven.

How simple... Zach tore out the page and wrote on a new one. "All spiders eat the husbands... usually." He flipped the page, and began writing as the two fought. "I'm sure she had reasons." He ended and got out of the way of their conflict. Not a very good relations for a team...

A large bang was heard. Chell, clearly. Without looking in her direction, Seven raised his hand and caught the empty cartridge. 'Hey, I let you get me the first time, but I ain't keeping my guard down while you're anywhere in a 3 mile radius near me. Aren't you glad? You get special treatment!' Seven winked at Chell. 'Zach, I'll make sure she doesn't hurt you, so don't be afraid.' He pat Zach on the back, and calmly tossed the cartridge back to Chell.

"Thanks, doubt needed." He showed Seven and tucked the pad away, and as he pulled his hand out, the paper he and written earlier fell out. He picked up the paper and looked at, then to the ritual circle. He walked up and kneeled, comparing his scribbles to the incantations. How he hadn't realized this before he had no idea but he began trying to translate the inscriptions. But each symbol hurt his head and he shook his head, trying to shake the pain off but it kept piling on until he crumpled the sheet in his hands and cradled his head, collapsing to his side.

Zach looked around and checked something that had fallen out of his pocket, before he finally stopped at the symbol on the ground. Seven looked at what he was doing, but as soon as he did, Zach held his head in his hands before falling over with a thud.
'Uh, Zach? Zach, buddy, you ok?' Seven ran over to Zach and kneeled beside him and turned him over, checking he was still conscious. He was, thankfully. Seven grabbed him and pulled him up against a wall so he could sit upright, before lightly slapping him on the face and saying, 'Hey, kiddo, snap out of it. You're all good, you're all right. Just take a deep breath and clear your mind.' This probably had to do with all of this occult stuff, and the fact that Zach was probably triggered by something unearthly. Seven had an eerie feeling that something worse than a headache for Zach was about to happen.

Chell observed how Seven stopped the cartridge, following the action up with some obvious trash talk. But for as much as Chell was burning to put multiple bullets in this guy's skull, she didn't. She simply couldn't. Even if she didn't observe that cunt for long, she couldn't deny that he was fast. Maybe even faster than her. And even though she had trained intensively for the last 5 years, she never had a taste of real combat. Of course, practice makes perfect, but wooden targets and tin cans are easy to shoot: they don't offer a challenge. And this Seven guy was definitely not an easy opponent. So for once, for as much as she hated it, Chell had to swallow her pride. She caught the cartridge and, after staring at it for a couple of moments, she calmly placed it on the table from where she had taken it from, extremely close to the same spot.
As Zach responded to Seven's comment, she visibly let out some steam. Although she never had any kind of relationship, she easily judged that telling them about it would have only brought more reasons for her to kill everybody in that room at that precise moment in time. Without saying a single word or exchanging a single glance, she turned back towards the wall and continued her accurate search for any type of possible clue.
When Zach collapsed on the ground, she completely ignored it.

Zachary's eyes slowly opened and he looked straight at Seven, he pushed the man's hands out of the way and reached for his notepad. He opened it and wrote down, "I'm fine" and handed it to the man. He got up and patted down his robes, his fist still curled around the note he had crumpled up. He inhaled deepily through his nose, and exhaled out of his mouth, as he silently mouthed soothing incantations to himself. He unfolded the paper in his hand and read what he had translated so far. It wasn't much and he contemplated whether to continue or not. Chell was investigating the basement so he decided that he'll just continue with the translations then. He placed the wrinkled paper down and placed his notepad next to it, transferring what he had so far. He put the first draft back into his pockets before returning back to sit in front of the ritual. He continued writing while silently chanting to himself, trying to banish the chattering voices in his head.
Finished he looked up to see someone who he hadn't noticed. Did he walk in while Zach was working? Was he here the entire time and Zach just not notice him? The teenager walked up to this mystery man, flipping to a new page and wrote down simply, "Who're you?"

Good, Zach was fine. He opened his eyes and said he was fine. Seven stood up and extended his arm out to pick up Zach, but he ignored it and patted down his robes. 'Ehehe...' He rubbed the back of his head with his previously extended arm and then decided to actually look around. Most of the stuff there was what he expected, and what he had seen before. Blood on the walls, odd runes and a symbol on the ground. This occult stuff was odd. Normally, it wouldn't really interest him, but through his sources, he had heard of something...interesting. A world, a dimension, separate from the one that we lived in. Somewhere unreachable, normally. But all these cult sacrifices had something big in mind. Way bigger than Seven could begin to imagine. Something that was on a god-like level. And the key to everything, and the only way to stop it was to enter what was called...the Dream World. It was said to house magnificent creatures, and be able to give the person who enters it unimaginable power. Seven wanted that power, but more than that, he wanted to tip over whatever the cultists were attempting to brew. And if he needed help, he didn't care where it came from.
'Hey, Chell.'
'Sorry about earlier.'

Chell kept on analyzing the walls (veir ffs pls) when somebody pulled up right next to her. She first glanced to see who it was, but before she could turn around again she froze.
Hey, Chell. Sorry about earlier.
She rigidly stood up and turned around, facing Seven. Although her face was blank and expressionless, a keen eye could notice the burning fire in her eyes. This man definitely had guts, even if she had smashed them not so long ago. Her rage quickly boiled down.
"What is your query, sir?" she said with a blank voice, crossing her arms.

After his monologue, and name exchanging, Karl went quiet, sat on the chair in the corner, and simply observed the people in the room. Perhaps when they find something, they'll share the fact. If not, well...This room was too busy with people, for him to investigate, so he just waited.
Boy's appearance, did not escape his attention either, although he remained on his spot. Newcomer was acting... weird. Karl was paying close attention to his actions, yet not reacting for any of them, even when he almost fainted. When the boy approached him, and gave him a piece of paper, he read it and smiled.
"Karl...Karl Edmond...I was sent here to investigate as well...How about you, boy...?" He turned the written side of the paper towards him, and pointed at the "Who're you" inscription.

'What is your query, sir?'
'*sigh* Hey, all I want to do is apologise for earlier. Whether its for your sake or mine, I really don't want to get into a fight, especially when there's something bigger than the both of us going on in the background. If you want to punch me for it, go ahead, but please consider it rationally.' Seven contemplated attempting to shake her hand, but thought better of it.
