Waiting outside the window, Seven listened closely. He had good ears, and managed to pick up some kind of noise. A person was speaking, so either they were mad, or there were at least two people in the house, excluding Zach. Seven jumped into the house and slid across to the corner, where he couldn't be seen. He was nearly silent, and Zach probably didn't hear him. He shot out of the corner towards the stairs. He looked to Zach while walking down the stairs, and he hadn't noticed him yet. Then he looked ahead of him. White hair jumped out at him, and he flinched ever so slightly. He looked around and saw another man with a briefcase, and a woman who seemed she was trying to hide.
"Uh, haha, hey there, what's going on?"

Zoe bowed her head as well and curtsied politely, "Obliged, Doctor..."
Smiling, her hands rose slightly to their sides, patiently expecting.
"Well, how about that exciting diversion."
Despite her proclivities, Zoe was in need of a new friend in the States, and unfortunately as Dr. Tavrin pointed out, her reputation preceded her. She was glad when people weren't afraid of her as well. She was a normal teenage girl after all. It was always easier to talk to people who didn't see you as a murderer, as they were also the people who wouldn't see it coming.
Idle thoughts are the Devil's Machinations...

Frost had stealthy moved past the people. He personally hated conversation, wasted precious minutes of observation.
He had reached the house, and he silently walked in, sensing another person inside. Or was it two?
Scratches, as well as the smearing of blood near multiple points. Looking at another point, he saw a large quanitity of dried blood.
He started to paint a picture in his mind, recreating everything as if it was happening in front of him, while also being wary of the people.

Tavrin grinned.
"Give me just a moment..."
He swirled off, cane tapping lightly as he walked. It only took him five minutes of jovial conversation to get a matronly lady in over-starched clothes to divulge to him the information about the murder he had mentioned. As she spoke, he mentally jotted down her notes on where the house was, adding them to the "maps" he formed in his head. Most of what she said was little more than gossip, that he knew, but he also knew that there was a kernel of truth in every tale, and even if it was a minuscule kernel in this case...this was going to be exciting, to say the least.
He returned to his new companion beaming, placed a hand gently on her back, sweeping her towards the door lightly.
"Well...old Mrs. Haplens knew all the local gossip, just like I had hoped, and told me exactly where the crime scene can be found. Now, since I'm certain you will be more than happy to escape this rather dull event, might I suggest we take a drive over to it and see what we can dig up, hm?"

"My interest?" Karl chuckled, and walked down the stairs. "I would say, its same as yours, pal. Curiosity. Desire to get to the very...bottom of...whatever is happening here." he slowly spread his arms, covering the whole room with that gesture. "A real tragedy it is, don't you think?...What kind of person would do, such a thing...multiple times, worth to add..." He still had his smirk on, unchanged since he walked in, into the house.
"Now...since we're both here to "investigate", wouldn't you mind sharing some thoughts to your "colleague"? I know im late, but those trains are just so slow...I just arrived, and i was supposed to be here, yesterday evening already!" Karl started his usual game.

Seven stood there, more awkwardly than ever before. In a room with only 4 people in it, he was ignored. He wasn't insulted, but rather just kind of surprised. Jokingly, Seven tripped up the white haired man, just enough to make him fall if he wasn't paying any attention. "I asked what was going on, and I'd like an answer."

There were a lot of people inside the house. Zach listened to their conversation and then heard a familiar voice, it was that man Seven, he seemed to have been investigating the murder as well. As if it wasn't already too clustered... he could identify maybe three other voices. Well they were all in the basement so he would just investigate the ground floor and then wait for them to leave before he would go to the basement. He carefully strolled around, making sure his feet didn't creak on the floorboards. He was just stalling for time, there wouldn't be much on the ground floor compared to the basement, he just needed those people to leave.

Chell stood passive as the basement filled up with people, so to say. Four was already too many for her. She took silent steps out of the darkness, her rifle mostly tipped towards the newcomers.
"I suggest no sudden movements if you value your head intact. Clear?" she muttered, her eyes now locked onto the two standing next to the staircase. Her stance was imponent and powerful, showing almost no sign of weakness.

Seven still hadn't received an answer. That peeved him. It didn't matter whether he knew it or not, but for his question to be ignored twice was a bit much. He jumped past the white-haired man to the bottom of the staircase and raised his hands. "I go by the name Seven, and I don't want any trouble. All I want are answers to my questions, and your little group here seems to know what they're doing." Seven slowly walked to the girl with the rifle. "Unless you want to spill some more blood in this house, I suggest you put the gun down."

Chell kept her eyes locked on the man. She was just about to shoot him when he stated his motive which, for the sake of the situation, spared his life just for a bit longer. When he walked to her, she wanted to immediately put a bullet in his head. BUT he was right: more blood would contaminate the ritual scene, making the search for clues even harder. But that didn't mean she couldn't teach this little cunt a lesson.
She slowly lowered her rifle, grasping it only with her right hand, keeping the left one at rest. She began taking small steps towards Seven, only stopping when the two were about a dozen of centimeters away from each other. Chell looked at him dead in the eyes.
"Don't test me, sir..."
With a quick and strong move she pushed the rifle in front of her and tipped the barrel upwards, smashing it into the man's groin. As soon as she felt the impact, she pulled the trigger. The bullet shook the barrel awkwardly, whizzing out of the barrel and smashing itself into the ground a moment later. Whatever Seven had just experienced, it must have felt rather bad. Chell kept staring him dead in the eyes, the barrel of her rifle letting out smoke.
"I don't fuck around...sir..." she said gritting her teeth.

Sudden push/trip caught Karl off guard, but as there were only two more steps in front of him, he managed to recover. He was about to turn, and most likely go ballistic on the newcomer, but another surprise just appeared from the shadows. A woman, with a gun pointing at both of them. As he put both of his hands up, and smile returned at his face, person that decided to push him, went dangerously close to her. This is not how you approach an armed individual...But, he got what he deserved.
"Wow, easy there lass, this is not time or place for violence...Put the gun down before someone gets hurt..."

Zoe clapsed her hands together and nodded excitedly.
"I'd like to get out of her before I fall asleep," she sung as she strode in front of Dr. Tavrin, purposefully shoving into and bumping as many people as she could.
"If any one asks, just say you're a potential suitor or something like that? Father's been entertaining this idea of marrying me off, thinks it will, 'Calm me down'," she mocked imitating the large deep accent of her father.
"I'm not interested in something as boring as marriage or having kids, yuck."

"A suitor? Heh, I think I can pull that off. Though I must say, I could not agree more on marriage...perhaps once I'm into my fifties or something, but certainly no time soon."
He opened the door for her, and strode out into the clear air, taking a long breathe.
"Ahh...nothing like the clean air of a small town."
As she walked lightly down the front steps, he frowned, and drew up beside her when they were on the front drive. With a flick of his wrist the tip of his cane trailed lightly up the side of one of her legs, slitting open her dress. It was his opinion that if he knew the way something should be, he would make it that way, which is exactly what he did.
"If we get into any trouble, I thought you might appreciate a bit more leg room than that stuffy ball-dress gave you."

"Woah-ho ho, Easy there--" He was suddenly interuptted when the lady smashed her gun into the man's crotch. "Ouf, er... What..?" After seeing her bust the guy's balls, Straz uncontrollably giggled until the other gentleman with white hair spoke.
"No, you're the one who shou' go easy. Comin' around here with your awkwardness sprea'in around the room-- Oh i'm sorry, i dont know where that came from." Suprised by what he just said, Straz raised his eyebrows. "Why was i being defensive on her side...? I barely even know her...ach, doesn't matter now."
"O'right, le's just solve this crime scene before anyone else's 'sacks' get smacks. Heh" He moved his suitcase closer to him, just in case anyone might do something funny.
"Now, do any one of ye' lads know about this--" Once again, interuptted by the sound of footsteps and creaking from the entrance of the house, Straz blew through his nose with an annoyed expression.
"Im star'in to get sick of hearing that sound." He said with his mouth slanted.

Zoe's pale face brightened red like a Tomato.
"You ass!" she squealed as she walked off the stairs.
"Daddy, said best behavior, how am I supposed to explain this to him," she continued.
Out of her sash, she pulled out her Trusty kitchen knife and deftly tore off the rest of the fabric so that her dress ended at her knees.
"Hey...you better not get any ideas, I'll report you," she threatened, carelessly waving the knife around before placing back in her sash.
