The teenager gave him a nod, quickly writing down, "Thanks for concern." Handing him the paper before strolling past him, tucking his writing utensils into his pocket. He had left his shovel back in his dingy little box of a home as to ward off suspicion, of course being the only one walking down an empty street looks suspicious enough so maybe he should've brought something to protect himself from other people. However he just planned on sneaking a peek, checking around for possible clues, before leaving. He already couldn't stomach it, the dirtiness of the Cult's work was already crawling under his skin. A dull ache in his head began beating, they were reacting to the darkness that had spawned from the ritual. He approached the house and stood there for a second, listening in. Hearing the faintness of voices, he circled around for another window and crept in.

Seven held the paper up and grinned. Probably sucks to have to write everything down.
He ran up the wall beside him and grabbed a pipe leading to the roof. He climbed up it and jumped to the top, crouching as he got there. He was planning to go to the house anyways, but he thought it better to trail Zach, in case he was ambushed or something of the sort. Zach was more cautious than Seven had thought he would be, and he saw him climb in through the window. Without a sound, he jumped down from the roof and landed on the ground below. Staying in a crouched position, he moved towards the window and peeked in, waiting for Zach's next move.

Tavrin raised an eyebrow and the young woman. Princess or not, she was one of those individuals who had been ruined by the position into which they were born, rather then benefiting from it -- of that much he was quite certain. He smirked lightly as he saw her hand shift down under her sash, a blatant declaration of the fact that she was carrying a weapon. Raising one hand it placation while idling fingering the ball-top of his cane with the other, he chuckled.
"No need to draw your knife, Zoe...it would do you precious little good with me anyhow. A bit more courtesy for the fact that I was merely trying to steady you would also be in line, young lady. With that said, however, I shall return to my original query of what you and your family are doing here? Does it have to do with the incidents that have been reported in Hollow Pines lately?"

She giggled, for a moment acting like a normal girl, covering her mouth with her gloved hand and relinquishing her knife, placing the other on her hip.
"You're no ordinary meatbag...you seem fuuunnnn..."
At the mention of her father, her smile disappeared but her eyes still seemed bright and engaged if a bit agitated, looking off to the side.
"The rest of these cattle are just so boring...but I promised Daddy, that I would be on my best behavior...Tch...He doesn't care about any of that fun stuff, he's here on Business...he's off somewhere I don't really care. As for Mummy is gabbing on about something over in another room so...I'm here to stay out of trouble and be introduced to other idiots when they come..."
She smiled again, staring straight at him, her eyes hungry.
"You can be fun right Mister?"

His eyes narrowed slightly, a fearsome yet playful gleam flashing in them for a moment before returning to normal.
"Fun? Oh yes...I can be fun. In fact, that's part of the reason why I'm here. Hollow Pines has been the victim of extremely violent murders and kidnapping. Even more interesting, from what my contacts tell me, while some of the murders were done by people...others seem to be the result of...other...things. So, I thought I'd take a look for a bit of exciting diversion from my usual business."
He evaluated Zoe's expression for a moment, contemplating both the fact that he had made yet another successful gamble, for the time being, and what facts he needed to consider for his next gambles. He gave a short laugh, and made yet another short bow.
"I'm sorry...I have been using your name without introducing myself. I am Dr. Tavrin Wolvera Luen. Dr. Luen at formal occasions like this, although you may feel free to call me Tavrin."

Kegin looked to the man and said
"the strange murders going on, ide rather not talk about them to be honest, my...my family they are lost"
He looked down at the ground a wave of sadness coming over him.
"i came home one day from working the mines, they were gone and bloody markings scribbled all over the wall, i lost my family"
Kegins attention was then turned to the other man who just stepped into the park. He waved towards him calling him over.

Klein sighed as he brought the tome to a close. It was a mind numbing read if he had to comment on it.
He had to burn something, his hands shook with anticipation. The pyromaniac's eyes scampered across the room looking for an object to torch into ashes. The fireplace didn't count... he did that earlier. He needed something new. An object that made wonderful cackling noises as its fibers turned to smoldering dust.
The book, yes, the book would be a nice thing to burn. The leather would take time to actually burn off and this words did little to soothe his mind's curiosity anyway, so what good did it do for him? Nothing, nothing. A match would do.
No. A blowtorch. Yes. That would be perfect!
Klein stood from his seat, the tome in his hand. He strolled towards the kitchen and rummaged the cupboard for his blowtorch and snatched it from its hiding place. He placed the book on its spine, allowing it to unfold and the sides to drop to random pages. The smell of unburnt paper was insulting. He needed ash.
He breathed in, eyes fixated on the book. After this, he figured his tendencies would be gone for a a day or so. The leather and paper would burn for a while to satiate his desire. Yes. Enough for two days. Hopefully.
When he clicked the blowtorch, no orange glory escaped the nozzle. No yellow burst or blue majesty. Nothing! He shook the blasted thing and tried again. Nothing. It was out and so was his sanity bit by bit. He looked through his drawers trying to find a match box. Empty!
Empty! He must have used it all up again! Damn! The book lay there, an insult to his mind and soul.
"Shit," he muttered as he grabbed the book and headed out his front door. He locked it and blazed his way towards the nearest store. He shook a bit and he bit his lip. He had to get out of the house. He might find something too creative to burn it. Like the propane tank.
On his stroll out, he managed to buy a lighter and a box of smokes from store just a few blocks away. With his mind settled on the idea that he can finally torch the damn book, he decided the park was a good place to light a cigarette. Ease his mind off the pyromania a bit. The smoke felt relaxing as his blew it out in a plume and he found interest in watching the people around the bench talk around.

Gaius let the conversation fall into a lull to honor the man's loss. After the pause, he began to resume talk, taking his hand off his sword. "I promise that I will help you exact revenge, friend. No matter the personal cost. I'm sorry for breaching the subject."
Suddenly, there was a voice from behind. The miner beckoned the voice's owner over. Inwardly, Gaius smiled, happy for a distraction. He replaced his hand on his sword, and entered a fighting pose, shield at the ready. He waited as the figure began to approach.

"Woah... you some actor or something?" Vitaliy backed up a bit, staring with bewilderment at the stranger in the laughable classical outfit, "I don't want any harsh trouble with you... yet." He squinted at the man's hand over the sword, his own twitching slightly as it bent towards the opening flap in his overcoat. With a quick motion, he flipped open the right side of his outfit, barely revealing the revolver resting in the holster attached under his shoulder.
"Now... I'd be happy to come over and introduce myself to you fine gentlemen... but first I'd like you to calm your Shakespearean friend down a bit here." Vitaliy couldn't help but grin under his scarf at the idea a man wearing a sword openly in public, finding his appearance to be absolutely hilarious. However, this did not break his concentration. Hand still frozen directly above his holstered weapon, he slowly paced towards the bench, circling around the sword wielding maniac at a good distance with practiced steps. As he moved around the swordsman, his scarf unraveled a bit farther than before, extending with the breeze away from his body, flapping almost dramatically behind him.
"Let's just slowly calm down like this never happened eh? What do you say my good man?" Vitaliy suddenly broke his stance. Arms extended to either side, he raised them up slightly towards the sky in a gesture that was an obvious display of pride in his abilities. He had no doubt he could flick his wrist yet again and kill this stranger without a second thought, but doing such an action in the middle of a heavily populated town center was definitely not the best of ideas. At that point he was beginning to wonder if the man was mentally stable. Under the covering of the bottom edge of his hat he maintained his gaze on the stranger's hand hovering over the sword, his own fingers twitched expectantly despite being extended to the sides. Vitaliy knew full well it would make no difference with no truly suitable cover nearby for the man to hide behind if things got nasty. His smug smile hidden under his scarf broadened, edges poking out into view from behind the top layer of the fabric.
Heh, I wonder if this fellow has heard of gunpowder...

Kegin nodded towards the man wielding his blade and said
"thank you for your concern friend, i appreciate your willingness to help a old coal miner out. Names Kegin."
Before Kegin could get a reply the two men were at somewhat of a stand off which he found somewhat amusing. Kegin looked towards both men and sighed, letting a loud chuckle out.
"new friends, new friends no need to be so aggressive to each other, lets just all calm down no ones going to hurt another alright"
He looked towards the man holding his sword and said
"its perfectly fine, if he does try to pull something it's one on two, i doubt he would try fighting us both out in the public like this".

As the man spoke, Gaius thought about the tactical disadvantages of the scarf and how ridiculous it looked, as well as the man's possible actions, until he heard the word 'actor'. Using a tone he reserved for children and other irrational beings, Gaius said to the intruder, "Watch your words, scarfed one, for your words could end quite abruptly. I am not an actor, do not underestimate me to be so. You may find that I am harder to kill than meets the eye. Your arrogance unbecomes you. If your death becomes a necessity, I would like you to know who killed you. I am Gaius of Rome." His tone changed from condescending to deathly serious abruptly for the second to last sentence.
Turning to the miner while lowering his shield, he continued, "Fair enough, but believe me, the scrap metal in his pocket is nothing compared to the mettle of my mind and the metal of my sword. I could deal with this man myself."
Turning to the stranger once more, he finished by saying, "If you truly wish no ill will upon us, state your name and your purpose." He braced himself for the cocky man's next action, but already knew, without a doubt, what would happen.

Vitaliy pulled down the scarf from his face, fully revealing his now wickedly curved grin, "You're right about one thing... making a big show of this in public isn't a great idea. Besides, I'd rather not shoot someone I just met, although I don't think a little bit of metal plating like that is going to come close to stopping a bullet from this package." He slowly reached toward his overcoat again, only to simply fold it over back to it's normal closed display, hiding the holstered weapon from sight as it was before. After doing so, he quickly brought his hands off to either side again to show he meant no harm.
"You can call me Lead... I'm a messenger of sorts." Vitaliy suppressed a short chuckle of his own at the thought of using his nickname as a fragmented title for himself, but his expression remained serious as he said the words.
Tipping his hat jokingly towards the man sitting on the bench, Vitaliy smiled warmly, "So, you fellows happen to know how a man gets himself murdered around here? I heard this town is famous for it."

Kegin looked to the man who introduced himself as lead, and said somewhat harshly
"by being a innocent family just scraping to get b...."
He stopped before finishing and looked down towards the ground, as the image of his sweet little daughter, smiling flashed in his mind. He fell silent in a moment of grief and depression. He lifted his head towards the man and forced a smile upon his face.
"Im sorry about that outburst i dont know what came over me, my names Kegin nice to meet you lead".

"What is your interest here, mate?" Straz remained standing on the side of the star. "His footsteps were light, means that he doesnt have much equipment with him. I dont think he came he' for trouble." He thought and sighed, "Ano'er one o' us, i guess. How many people were sent to investigate?" He slowly placed down his breifcase and folded his arms, staring at the man halfway down the stairs.
"Come on, i don't bite." He smiled.

Chell remained in the corner of the room, masked in the shadows. Only a keen eye could barely spot her. She still did not have visual on the intruder and although the man clearly made the point that the intruder might be here just for investigation, she still did not trust him. Her eyes were locked at a dead angle on the opposite wall, keeping both the man and the final steps of the staircase in her peripheral vision, ready to snap in either direction at the smallest suspicious movement.
She patiently awaited a reason to put a bullet into someone's head, but oddly against her usual character, she would rather have it to not put one in the man's head (Straz). He seemed...interesting...
