I think ele is tonnes of fun for fucking around, but not worth picking up for competitive play. Or ladder play. Or any sort of play where you would like to improve and have people be willing to help you improve.

I don't think it deserves all the shit it gets, I don't think it needs a complete rework either. But some adjustments would do it good. I would've preferred if the tree would be a kind of Ent.

I think Rain was answering OP's question on rage usage. And actually he's 100% correct, rage is completely useless and has no place in basically every situation, which is why he's saying its best to not use it.. It's only used for cheesing, and its used for cheesing because of how bad it is.

First part of your post, I like how you stated a fact. I didn't know you took the time out of your day to speak to every player around the world and ask them their opinion of ele and whether or not they enjoy the gameplay. I applaud you for stating a fact. Kek.

Rain said that unless you know what you are doing, it's best not to use rage**. Doesn't seem like he said that its best not to use in general, rather it looks like he said that unless you understand what rage does for you that it's best not to use it. If rain could edit the post so that it is more clear I think that would make it easier to understand.

@rain I played ele competetively alongside the time that myst, truthful and them were still floating around and got to 2672 with solely ele. This was even after the nerfs and without exploiting any of the glitches that, according to the rest of you, still exist. No tree mass needed. Just macro, micro, and MU knowledge. I'm actually trying to help players that have shown interest in ele and improved one of them by at least 200 points in rating for ele and am trying to help him to understand how ele conforms rather than plays outright the majority of the time.

Pumu, you say you got 2600 + before with ele at a competitive level. Tell me, do you still rank with ele frequently? Or are you saying these things based on past experience?

I haven't had access to the game but without any new updates the knowledge I have is still a solid base to go off of for anyone willing to learn it. I reached 2672 with ele. I've been trying for the longest to find a site that allows the host domain to connect to the site that I am at but so far all I've been able to access are the replays. I'm able to critique that way and keep an eye on how people are progressing. In a way im lurking.

The heck? Can you download Tor or can you not connect to the Tor network? And where is this firewall located, I'm guessing it's on the network and out of your control?

It's the entire network I believe. I've tried so many proxies and alternative browsers. I found on proxy site yesterday that let me access the site but couldn't connect to the host domain to allow me to log in.
