I agree with fu here. You see these battles are decided upon the animation as you know, and every part of the animation affects who will vote for you animation. Flash just naturally looks better compared to pivot, and as such has a bias making people like it better. These battles should be based on the skill of the animator. Science dictates that to truly compare a trait between two subjects, everything about them except that trait must be the same. Thus, you can not test you skill as an animator unless you face those who use the same animation software as you. So it does matter, him using pivot and you using flash will mean you will always win.

Lol I use a tablet I guess that makes it even worse.

flash auto corrects drawings so your drawing ability or what you draw on doesn't have that much of an effect. That being said, using a tablet might make it easier for you.

And by the way, I think we should look at each possible opponent's skills at animating rather than the programs they use. It should be a comparison of personal skill. Both programs have their own pro's and cons, and a battle between two different programs would be a test to see who can manipulate their programs strengths and their own personal skill to overcome their weaknesses. I wouldn't turn down a possible opponent or not challenge someone just because they use a different animation software.

I am not one to ignore defeat, and I will admit to being bested in this argument. Just know my opinion has not changed and Death's Exile and Grace shall never see each other on the battlefield anytime soon.

Nice RHG. I never use a tablet for animations, just mouse and keyboard. Good luck on fighting Safeguard.

In my opinion every thing is better with tablet, my drawings w/ mouse don't look as good because my mouse cant do curves with out the line wobbling a ton
(which i guess is why line tool is a thing)
