So I made a thread for my art stuff. Here I'll post serious paintings, doodles and serious doodles. For now enjoy the painting I have already posted here because it hasn't been commented yet.

What a piece of garbage, amirire?
No, it really looks good, I envy your artistic abilities. On to the CnC!

The contrast of colors is great, each part looks individualistic and the chiaroscuro is on point. I especially like the blue buildings, they give my mind a strange happy feeling. Something weird about this, however, is that the shadows seems a bit off. The areas on the shore and forest seem to have different shadows than the building, but that could have been intentional. I really like it, but what did uou use to take a picture of it?

It's a study on Hopper. Here's the original:

To be honest I didn't really pay attention to the shades as much as I did with the colours. Though you can say that the colours are a bit off from the original painting. It was made with coloured pencils after all. Thank's for the CnC!
I used a digital camera of 14.1 megapixels. I'm not really satisfied with the picture taken though...

It's a pretty good study man! In future projects that you use colored pencils for though, I'd advise using small, tight circles to shade and render instead of strokes. Using small circles to render makes it easier to blend different colors and values, even if it's kinda tedious (but lets be real, when isn't drawing tedious?). As far as color goes, even if you don't have the EXACT color that was used, you can still achieve the same color by layering colors on top of each other, i.e. the darker orangey brown of the buildings in the background can be achieved by blending orange with a little bit of blue or even violet (complementary on complementary creates grey/desaturated colors dawg).

So I decided to upload something and this time it's a sugar skull. Thing.
It's something I made for my sister for her new bedroom. She told me to draw her a "sugar skull". I just did a google image search to get a grasp and then proceeded to do my own thing.

So I see a skull decorated in Plant Designs along with 5 bugs on certain parts of the skull.
I like the use of harmony, The art really has an outdoor mood going with it for me. I also Notice
a principle of design; Balance. Though there are small parts that are asymmetrical (Chin and Parts of the Eye).
If I had to Draw a line across the art, There would be a strong symmetrical Image. If I were you, I'd Color this work, In order to
Show Emphasis on the Plant Designs because for me, the first thing I see when I look at the artwork is the Ladybug Eyes (I guess Because they're
Big and Surrounded in mostly black background).
Nice job Overall, I'm sure Death The Kid would be proud.

Thank's Boltz!
To be honest the ladybugs were kinda supposed to not be symmetrical. Both to make it seem more natural and to make my job easier. Yeah laziness was a factor.
What I'm not proud of though is how assymmetrical the top of the skull is.
Finally, while I did want to colour it, I didn't have anything to colour it with and since I didn't really have any ideas lef, I decided that my sister would paint it the way she wanted.
