In theory, the bottom of the ocean should've been like ink but the whole floor was illuminated by glowing coral and fish. Anglers, Vipers, and fish that were see-through. Electrical eels rippled through the water, sparks coursing through the water. Mysterious, submarine-like shadows surged above them, covered in streaks of flashy lights.
Grant's mind push caused a visible ripple, like a shockwave. Fish quickly swam away, their own electromagnetic wave signaling bouncing off, telling them to avoid the disturbance.

Satisfied that he could defend himself should the moment arise, Grant began walking down the path. He smirked to himself, his eyes never losing the same crazed look from raising the wall.
If Abra wants entertainment then by God I'll give it to him.

[OOC: Hmmm... this makes this troubling. My virus spreads electrically, one easy way is through bitten contact since it gets through to the nerves faster. However, since all of us are in an underwater environment, I wonder if one spark from the virus, such as if Nocturn becomes stressed or irritated, would begin to spread the virus to every living organism the spark could conduct itself to. Aquila, I leave this to you.]
Nocturn sunk into the ocean and he held his breath. So this is how he would end, bottom of the ocean. He smiled softly, a way a sailor of Lantern's Cross dies is in the sea in the arms of the ocean. Much obliged, Abra. He closed his eyes and allowed the seawater to consume him from the inside out.
Then Dino spoke.
The zombie's eyes snapped wide open and he stared at the rest of the group. They were alive and well, testing their mobility and powers under the deep pressures of the depths. He clicked his jaw in irritation. Huh, at least the virus didn't meddle with the jaw clicking.
He walked forward, and passed by Lilith.
"I have no will to live but here I am," he stared at her for a moment before he trudged ahead. He wanted death, release and all this all-powerful Abra did was tease him. His spinal gears turned and turned and his inner clockwork whirred to life.

[OOC: Just a suggestion: The virus can't survive under such pressure and salinity without its host for long enough to spread to anything?]
"No will to live?" Lilith slightly tilted her head, and put her finger on her cheek.
"So he is alive after all..."
"What motivates you to keep going then...?" She still wasn't sure what exactly was this individual. Although that "person" caught her attention from the very beginning, she really had no time to figure it out. He looked like decomposing human's body, filled and mixed with various metal parts. Not entirely alive, not entirely dead, not entirely human... Techmaturgy perhaps? Combining science and magic, was something that Lilith was dealing with for most of her life... Could it exist in even more advanced form, in the world He was from? Or was he just a regular representative of his people... So many questions and no time to ask them. Because of Abra's game they were in constant danger, and everyone was on edge already...If only this group met under different circumstances... Lilith sighed, and very slowly began to move forward as well.

[OOC: The virus is arcane in nature and is transferred through close contact. The virus is the electricity inside him, so if it gets too powerful, it will conduct to the seawater around him and effectively, to you all. If, of course, allowed by Aquila.]
"Nothing motivates me more than dying," Nocturn replied grimly as he stopped midstep, he raises his hand watching the fleshmetal skin mimic his old one so closely that it repulses him rather than soothes him. It is too close to home... and yet it isn't. It isn't right. He closed it into a fist and looked over his shoulder to get a good look at Lilith. "I see you are a Necromancer. Pity, You are only one-half of a person that did this to me."
He then continues his walk in the sea. The darkness of the depths never bothered a seaman, and with his kind of eyesight, there was nothing to fear at all.

Necromancer...Lilith hasn't heard herself being called that in quite a while. It sounded somewhat... negative, for her now. Left a bad taste in her mouth. "Dark magic is only the source of my power, an accident of birth..." She started. "It doesn't take much to put some life into a dead, used up vessel and bind it to your will, after all. The process stops there, and doesn't really bring anything good to the world either... However, to create your own functional vessel, give it shape and cause suiting your needs - or even just a part of that - than maybe give it its own consciousnesses; essentially create and shape life, you need to know much more about the world surrounding you. Chemistry, biology, physics, other sorts of magic... Possibilities - and hence progress, are endless, so is the knowledge and study required to discover it... With what I do, I want to affect the world, make it better... Cure diseases instead of making more of them, like "They" do... That's why i'd call myself more of a curious researcher, a Scientist rather than a 'Necromancer'..." Lilith started talking to zombie's back, but soon it seemed like she wasn't addressing anyone in particular anymore, thinking out loud instead. Her eyes shifted away, staring into the dark depth above them and its inhabitants.
Lilith went quiet and blinked couple of times, as if she woke up for a trance of sorts. She had her mouth shut for too long it seemed like, and finally had a chance to talk herself out... "Im sorry...You probably don't care anyway..." She smiled, still staring at the fish above them. "...So...what exactly is 'This', and who did it to you?" Although she already had her suspicions, recently a lot of things weren't really what she thought they would be. Different worlds had much different rules than hers apparently...

"It is true," Nocturn agreed his steps not ceasing their rhythm. "I could care less."
Lilith approached him and he gave her a sideways glance. "I have no obligation to tell you who or what did this to me but I will tell you this, if you see sparks coming out of my body and my eyes are left as pale orbs. Run."
He didn't want anymore blood on his hands with that final remark. No one needed to know what he was or how he came to be, what mattered to him is that he died and no one died with him.

Although Lilith was walking rather slowly, she still managed to pass by the Zombie man, getting a better look on his moving cogs in the process.
Hearing his warning, she slightly raised her eyebrow. "Worth remembering I guess... And of course you don't have to tell me..." At this point she turned around, and started walking backwards, about five meters or so in front of the Zombie, keeping her hands in her coat's pockets- As usual. "...I just thought that this... Dysfunctional parody of a team, would have bigger chances of surviving if we actually knew anything about each other..." She shrugged. "For example I don't even know your name...or his..." Lilith pointed in general direction of the Telekinetic kid, with a slight move of her head.

Sensing that he was being acknowledged, Grant responded quickly.
"My name is Grant. I'm your best chance at survival."
The response was swift and emotionless. The telekinetic not stopping or turning around as he spoke.

"Surviving? To be honest, I do not think Abra expects us to survive," Nocturn said. "We are his toys and no matter what happens, all toys suffer the same fate. They always return to their chests at the end of the day or are thrown out."
The zombie gazed at the man in front who suddenly spoke. He paid the man no heed. He had much power and he respected that he kept it to himself and used it when he deemed rightly so. In some odd comparisons, he found Grant similar to himself but he made sure it ended there.
No ties. No faults, no emotion.
Come wayward souls,
Who wander in the darkness
There is light for the lost and the meek
Sorrow and fear,
Are easily forgotten
When you submit to the waves of the sea...

Dino just lurked in the backline, admiring the odd "scenery". He could clearly hear the conversation that the members of his party were having, so he decided to lend an ear to it. As he overheard Lilith express in her own words her capabilities and profession, Dino couldn't help it but smile. He didn't know much about magic, but he knew that they could be stopped with the right amount of bullets. When Lilith pretty much asked for a group introduction, he was about to come through, when the telekinetic guy interrupted him. His comment was so cocky and rude, and Dino couldn't help but giggle.
"That's cute, kiddo. No, for real. It was almost credible. You gotta work a bit more on the ego part." he said with a wide smirk on his face. He then faced the rest of the group.
"You lads can call me Dino. I'll be your marksman for this adventure. Now I'd usually charge you all a fee for my services, but this circumstance is particular so I will make an exception."

Nox sat back and listened to the people around him chat amongst themselves. He reviewed his situation. He was underwater-ish, with no weapons, no close allies, and enough enemies. He had two choices. Leave and hope for the best, or stay and hope nobody decides to turn on him. He decided that the best short term course of action was to stay with the group and rry going unnoticed, he kept towards the back and to the side of the people and did not talk.

Grant's power warded off most, but attracted others. They saw them coming but that was their only reaction as the thick torpedoes surged past them, brushing past them. A few could feel the slither of tentacles but nothing more, except for Timothy. Silent, behind everyone else, he was an easy target to snatch. Tentacles wrapped around him and hauled him through the water. The group, frozen, look at who they now held audience too. Six feet in their entirety was a herd of Humboldt Squids. The one holding Tim pulsed an array of white and red colors, and the others responded, touching and wiggling about Timothy with their tentacles, trying to identify what Tim was. One crept forward and grabbed Timothy's arm, holding his hand up, seeming to stare at his fingers. Then with a flash, went Timothy's right ring finger, now just a stump streaming blood into the water. Humboldt Squids possess razor-sharp beaks, capable of tearing through flesh like a scissor through paper. The herd paused, staring at the one who had taken a bite, waiting for an answer. It blinked a few colors, and satisfied by the answer, a few broke off from the main group to descend upon the remaining group, the hunt was on.

Glad that she got any kind of conversation going, Lilith was about to try and continue it, but just as she opened her mouth, she went silent and closed them. A whole school of squids passed by, around and between the members of the group. She slowed down her step, and decided it'd be a good decision to refrain from sudden moves... No matter of kind, most squids were rather aggressive in their general behavior. By the size and colors, Lilith recognized, or rather associated them with a specie present in Rigonian Seas - Back in her world. They actually looked exactly the same.
The woman stood still, up to the point where she heard commotion behind her. A kid, that she thought got lost again, apparently was way behind them, now captured by the cephalopods. "Oh boy..." Frowning, she could sense the trouble in the air...or rather water.... By the time the squids bit off their victim's finger, and rushed towards them, she was already making her first move.
Remember that little, colorful fish she made? Now it was coming back from the flank, darting through the water at her full speed, covered in an expanding cloud of gray. Another transformation took place, as the little fish became an almost 7 feet long, black shark - natural squid's predator - of undefined specie. Keeping its momentum, it aimed straight for the squid that seemed to "lead the charge", with an intention to shred it to pieces with its powerful jaws. If it was to miss, any hostile target would do...
For the first time a shortage of ash took its toll. Normally, Lilith would create something bigger, and probably more effective, but the shark had to do. She already used most of her ash to create it, keeping only the necessary amount for herself in case she had to use it in defense.

Nocturn's eyes darted to the carnage. Blood in the water attracted the virus' instincts quickly as it does a shark's. The zombie of Lantern's Cross gazed at the predators that viewed them as viable prey and he scoffed. He grabbed both his metal rods and readied himself only to realize his weight and the sea around him slowed his reactions a bit more. However, the depths didnt provide the cover predators needed for them to successfully hunt them, he saw each creature in the curtains of the sea with his eyes, their electrical fields gave them away.
The cogs in his spine whirred and his eyes began to pale. The blood in the water slowly intoxicated him but it wasnt enough to spur a carnage filled thought. Instead he used this, he used the virus' violent intent to his advantage. The gears inside that replaced his organs began to quicken and accelerate against the pressure of the sea.
Nocturn opened his jaw at the surge of kinetic energy inside him and he cracked his neck. Lowering himself, his eyes looked for a close by target, preferably one already occupied and found Lilith's construct of a shadow shark taking on a predator.
"The sea hath no wrath that can best a seaman already on his deathbed!" he said as he charged alongside the shark towards the predator. He will show at least, that some prey can fight so ferociously that the predator dies. The squid's soft body would be slammed with his metal batons left and right as the shark shreds them.
