(OOC: AGH WHY I SO BUSY RIP MEH. If I die here, it was a nice story, gentlemen. On with the show.)
Timothy had looked at dead squid lying on the beach, but never in real life. And as his finger went flying off, he groaned in his mind.
"I was about to finish a song, darn it!"
He was probably dead meat, but he took out his guitar, possibly for the last time, and began to strum a harmonious tune.
The siren's song worked on quite a few animals he had tested before, their yapping suddenly quiet, but for its probability here, he did not know. As he continued, he slowly backed off.
"If this is the last melody, might as well do one that doubles as a funeral dirge."

Dino observed as his companion got assaulted by the squids. Everybody else was ready to take action, the zombie-like man and Lilith being the most prepared ones. Dino wanted to be of use, but wet gunpowder is shit gunpowder. He took off his cross from his back and planted it into the ground, making a bit of cover for himself. He then stepped away from the cross, moving to about a dozen meters away from it.
"Use that bit of cover that my cross gives. I'll try drawing attention if they attack. You look for their weakspot."

Nox looked around, seeing all these people willing to riwk their lives for someone they didn't know. He looked from his bat to the squids. Even if he had his poison, he was sure it would wash off before something got hit. At least a dart could be used to blind or otherwise distract something. In an effort to look useful, he slowly approached the squid that was being attacked by the zombie man, a dart in hand and bat at the ready. He threw the dart in hopes of getting an eye, but due to the world around him, he was unsure it would hit.

Grant knew the more people alive in the party the better his odds of surviving. Summoning his power, Grant tried to use the squishiness of the squids to his advantage, trying to literally rip them apart with his mind. He didn't attempt to concentrate the power or manipulate his telekinesis in any complex way. Instead opting to let the power go wild on their bodies.
He was actually curious to see what would happen to them.

The Humboldt Squid wrapped around Nocturn, its beak scratching against the metal body but to no avail. Lilith's shark smashed into the squid and ripped through it. Nox, a third wheel, got attacked from the back, another squid grabbing him and pulling him back. It bit down on his shoulder, chomping down on bone. The shock wave Grant sent out rippled within it and it detonated, along with a few others. Splattering out, it covered Nox in gore, who also faced serious damage from the attack. His body, not as squishy as the squid's, the right side of his body that took the brunt of the strike tried to absorb the shock and distribute it appropriately, however the stress came out as too much and his arm was ripped apart by the force. Lacerations split open the skin into ribbons and muscles oozed out, ripped off the bones by the trauma.
Another squid wrapped itself around the cross, tugging at it to get it out of the way. Another squid attacked the shark Lilith created, smashing into its side and gnashing into it with its beak.
Timothy couldn't play his music, his arms bound by the squids' tentacles. That's all he wanted to do, he wanted to play his last song but these slimy, tentacle bastards aren't letting him. He could feel his rage boil within him, and like icing on the cake, he saw his hat float past him. He glared at the squid next to him holding his hand and the sign that it was working began with it letting go of his hand, and then the streaks along its body glowed bright red in distress before it attacked the one holding Timothy.

Lilith stood there almost casually, with her hands still in pockets, cautiously watching the battlefield and guiding the shark from target to target with silent orders. As the giant fish caught the squid, it snatched it, thrashing the soft body to left and right until there was nothing left of it. At the same time, it was taking a rather wide turn, still keeping its speed. When the tables turned, and the squid tangled around the shark, biting it, instead of blood, a gray cloud came out. Lilith didn't seem to be bothered by it at all. Bah, she counted on it. As the flesh turned back into ash after being ripped from the body, it started to transform seemingly uncontrollably both inside, and outside of the squid. Spikes, razor edges, teeth and other kinds of pointy stuff were appearing and disappearing, spinning around in the cloud, essentially turning shark's blood and wounds into organic blenders. The shark itself didn't remain indifferent as well, still fighting both with the unwanted visitor on his back, as well as with any other squid that got close enough to its jaws as it dove back into the fight.
Seeing one of the members getting badly hurt, Lilith frowned and cursed under her breath. There was no way of telling wether it was the Poisoner's, or Tele-kid's fault... But that was exactly what she was talking about, if they keep it like that, they will eventually kill themselves with their own hands... Still paying as much attention as possible to the battlefield and the shark, she began to slowly make her way to the wounded.
"Hara! Be of use and get him out of here or somehting, I'll cover you...!" She yelled over her shoulder.

Nox felt a sharp pain pierce him from behind. He looked at his arm, and saw him blood pluming into the water like a geyser. The squid then sponteneously blow up, sparing him from further harm. But the damage from the blast did the deed. His mind exploded in a miasma of pain, he knew that arm was done for. He had seen this kind of damage before, in fact, he himself had inflicted it, and he knew the blood loss would be enough to take him out. The pain from the water forced him into the darkness of him mind as he blacked out. As his mind slowed, a few thoughts ran through his head. Welp, I believe at this point, I am screwed.

Nocturn smiled at the predator's attempt at an attack, the beak did nothing but etch its mark on his metal body. The zombie twirled both rods on his hands before he plunged it into the beast's head. Lilith's shark charged forward, ripping the squid's grip away with the rest of it. Nocturn landed onto the ocean floor softly. He looked around for any other danger and found Timothy struggling to keep alive, the blood in the water thickened with Nox's own blood seeping into the saltwater mix.
His spinal gears turned and the virus sparked within him. His eyes grew a lot paler but he was still in control, he charged towards Timothy's predator and leapt toward it. The zombie's jaw widened and the rods poised to strike at any tentacle that would bar his intense desire to feed.

(((OOC: Skully, its O'Hara. O'Hara is the complete name, hence thats what you shout bae c: )))
Dino began moving immediately after the explosion, trying to attract the attention of some of the squids. When Lilith shouted the order, he glanced towards the poison kid, finding him literally floating in a cloud of blood. With two quick steps he adjusted his route, and made his way towards Nox. When he got there, Dino saw the damage done: his whole arm came completely off. Without a moment of hesitation, the Irish man snagged the body of the passed out man and held it tight, making a run for the cross. As he began approaching his belongings, he noticed the squid trying to mess with the cross.
"Goddamn bastard. I'll have to clean the barrel tomorrow!" he shouted. Dino kept Nox's body steadily on his shoulder with his left arm. The right one slipped behind his coat and pulled out his revolver. He shot two precise rounds while heading towards the squid hugging the cross.
I don't know if it's going to hold underwater, but I don't have a choice.

Timothy, surprised it was working, kept the song up, hoping that it would last enough time as he backed away.

Bullets underwater can only go about three feet, but point-blank, three feet is more than enough. The two bullets punched into the squid's body and its insides implode, blowing out the back of its body.
Pieces of squid splattered about, giant plumes due to Lilith's and Grant's attacks. Nocturn himself grabbing pieces of out the water before biting down on another Homboldt. Realizing their loses, the squids flashed a retreat signal and propelled away, jets of ink mixing with the blood. Lilith quickly made her way to Nox, trying her best to staunch the bleeding but her efforts seemed futile.
Suddenly the ground shook and an immense shadow grew out of the ground. "Oh... dear..." The rock golem mumbled. "Squids... bad... Master will make me hunt them..." It picked up Nox and looked at his arm. "Can't... die yet." He pulled the bones out and using magic, sealed the stump. "Now go through door." It erected a cave out of the ground. "Oh... before go. Master has gift." It pulled a meter long box out of its mouth and dropped it onto the ground. It hit the ground in a puff of dust, creating a small crater. The golem dropped Nox and receded back into the ground.

Nocturn paid no heed to the golem that had appeared. It registered but he ignored it completely. At the moment, the virus took hold, the jaw extended downward as it chomped down on the humbolt flesh he had, it didnt need to chew it, rather Nocturn simply allowed it all to slither down his throat. The teeth were mainly there to snatch sizable chunks for his body to process immediately.
The iron-rich blood and flesh filled his gut and it would slowly feed the virus' endless hunger... and would improve his body in some way. Consuming raw flesh used to horrify Nocturn but now? It felt like an everyday thing. His mind had numbed to the idea of cannibalism or biting off pieces of flesh from still living creatures, no, he was far from being morally scarred from it.
He swallowed the last of the flesh he had before his eyes reverted to their normal brown color and the spinals gears moved to a crawl but never actually stopped. They were processing now, the work of the virus had begun once more.

(OOC: Delor I kno, I actually do that on purpose c: For some odd reason I just find it amusing that she mispronounces Dino's name. >u> )
(OOC#2: So did Nox actually lost his whole arm or what? Kind of confused bout that part...)
The shark still chased the squids for some time, after their retreat, before it eventually came back and began to first dissolve into gray cloud, and then completely disappeared. Meanwhile Lilith tried to do something about Poisoner's arm. There was close to nothing she could do about it underwater however. "We'd need a miracle or Maneian magic to patch that thing up right now..."
When the golem showed up and 'did his thing' she raised her eyebrows slightly. "...Well I didn't take that into consideration...Anyway, jab yourself with it if you feel like you're going to pass out from pain...It'll make the whole thing numb..." Lilith created, and gave him a small, sting-like looking bone. "...Or it will melt half of your body... I tend to mistake this scorpion's subspecies..." She joked smiling, and her interest switched to the box on the ground.
"Well what do we have here...A gift from Abra, he said?" Frowning, she crouched down next to it to get a closer look. After few seconds however she straighten herself back up, and took a couple of slow steps backwards. "...Im not opening that thing from up close..." Lilith said indifferent and right after these words a skeletal hand emerged from the sandy bottom, quickly unlatching any locks or buckles before taking its chances against the lid.

(OOC: I hope I'm doing this right... :D)
The box's lid flew open, forced upwards from the occupant inside. The bubbles cleared, revealing a small, bipedal blue creature with glowing yellow eyes. It wore an ocean blue shirt with a simple capital M on its center. Beside the 'M' was a small apostrophe S, and below the M was the word 'rule', complete with an exclamation point. Its dark grey, nearly black jeans sported pockets all along the outer sides and back, and its feet were covered with a flashy pair of yellow and black sneakers with silver lightning bolts on the sides.
The creature took a quick look around, and then waved cheerfully at the lady nearest to him.
"Hi there! My name is Matthew Neilson!" he said. Then, without waiting for a reply, he addressed the lady again, "Are you from Comic Con?"
Again, without waiting for a response, he looked down at the box. After a few moments, he then swam out of it, closing the lid with a flick of his foot and settling on top.
"Where's the magician dude?" he asked, throwing the question out as if he expected someone to answer. He then just sat there, taking note of the surrounding characters. Hmmm, the metal zombie looked kind of cool.

Going with the flow, as Abra probably expected of them, Grant ignored the new arrival and instead stepped towards the cave.
