"Gladiators? No, Im afraid there was a..." Lilith started declaiming her excuses and explanations as usually, before she just stopped and dropped her head down, letting out a loud sigh. "Nevermind, Just put them on..." She spoke up with a defeated, 'Im Done' tone, before murmuring one more thing to herself. "...You're such a cunt, Abra..." The woman then extended both her arms in front of herself, her wrists touching each other already. Its not like she really needed her hands free to operate anyway...It also wouldn't be the first time she was in handcuffs... She knew her ways, what's the worst thing that can happen?
When the man was to put on his 'chains', she'd try and leave something little special in his pocket. A tiny snake-like creature, just in case Lilith needed the keys back.

Timothy hated police. They would always stick their nose into things they didn't know about all in the name of "justice".
He couldn't resist, he knew, fore the others were already sticking their hands out.
"You can put them on, but I ain't sticking my hands out like a beggar," Timothy softly said in his slight accent.

As they boarded the helicopter, minute drops of sweat rolled down Dino's face, exhausted by the battle. When presented to the two officers and obliged to put the handcuffs, he sighed. Carelessly he turned around, placing his cross on the pavement of the helicopter and opening it. He slowly placed the Mac 10's back into their place and rotated the inner cross, closing the mechanism and concealing his weaponry. He then turned around and lunged his arms forward, resembling a zombie.
"You caught me, officer! I have been overwhelmed!" he said with a very sarcastic tone. The Irish man then peaked over his shoulder to the guitarist, Timothy.
"Let's stick to their game, lad. For now." he said undertone, making sure that nobody but Tim and Nocturn (the ones in his immediate surroundings) could hear.

Timothy, shrugging, sighed and lazily stuck his hands out.
"Just do it already."
He very slightly tipped his cap to Dino before putting his arms together.
I guess we are comrades in arms in this sense.

Nocturn ripped both of the android's hands off his rods and then nearly lunged for the officers that tried to take in his allies. However, when Celestial gave himself up willingly, he paused enough to see that they were overwhelmed. His eyes glared at the men giving them safety for cuffs on their hands.
He's been in jail before, didn't like it, but if it were an alternative to fighting endlessly then fine. He walked towards the vehicle and allowed himself to be captured. Dino whispered something to him and he nodded.
"For a time, I agree," he said. "Just tell me when we stop playing."

Reinhold scratched his head and put the cuffs down. "Hell if you're going to come so willingly I see no problem to cuff ya." He placed the cuffs back into the holder. "Never did enjoy cuffing less I had to. Things are magnetic and any attempt to pull or tinker with 'em shocks the fella. Nasty things, mark my words, all this cop business used to be a lot more humane when I was his age." He jerked his thumb at the younger officer. "Alright well gentlemen, and lady," he tapped his helmet as a small greeting to Lilith, "take a seat and strap in."
He walked back into the cockpit and Olson strapped himself down in front of a computer bay. He grabbed a radio and reported in, "This is Unit #214, heading to the Arena to drop off some civis over." He cut the mic and grinned sheepishly at the group. "The force gets a little angsty when gladiators get involved. So it's just easier this way."
The radio beeped and a voice answered. "Alright Officer Olson, nice job see you back when you come. Over."
"Alright over and out." Olson hung up the radio and pressed a button, the hard metal seats flipped back into the wall and were replaced by plushier ones. "I called you civis so let's treat you like ones." He whistled and spun in his chair. "So which dimension did you guys come from? You get warped in or accidently happen upon this hapless place?"

Matthew slumped to the floor with a sigh, thinking about his cuffs. This didn't feel right. Weren't the bad guys supposed to wear these? Was he going to jail? He wasn't a bad guy! The cyborg glanced around at his teammates. No one here was a bad guy. They didn't deserve this. The whole situation was humiliating and unnecessary.
He fidgeted a bit, thinking hard. Well, he didn't really need his hands to fight...at least not with his air or water powers. However, it would be trickier to use his Ultra Hands. He curled up, head on his knees, and suddenly his past came charging back, overwhelming the forefront of his mind. Matthew curled up tighter, trying to suppress the emotional flow.
He was on the streets again. Alone. Shunned. Unloved. Invisible. He remembered the things passerby had said to him.
"You're an outcast." they had said. "No one loves a monster. No one will ever love you. You smell. You're uncivilized. You're disgusting..."
"No," Matthew whispered. "No I'm not!"
Vapor burst from Matthew's body and hung in a moist aura around his body. His serpent released his arm and coiled up by his side. It nudged Matthew's knee, and the cyborg looked up. The serpent then rubbed against him, trying to comfort him, but the tears were already flowing from Matthew's eyes. Despite this, the cyborg made no sound at all. He curled up again, his serpent's head in his lap.
And Matthew sat there in silent sorrow...lost in all of his most painful memories. He was so deep in the darkest corners of his mind, that he didn't even register what was going on around him.

When the officer put the cuffs away, Dino sighed in relief. As a true Irishman, he never loved police. Given his occupation, that sentiment grew even more accentuate. He sat down, dragging his cross in front of him and sustaining it with both hands. When queried about the dimensional trip, he hesitated a second before replying.
"With all due respect, sir, we don't really know. I am not even certain that my companions all come from the same dimension as I do. But this place is nice in my opinion. Reminds me of the smoky streets of Dublin." he said with a kind smile on his face and a minute tear at his eye.

Nocturn sat idly looking at the landscape. He listened to the conversation but didn't really decide to process it. It was another dimension though, that much he understood from Dino and Reinhold.
Another dimension for them or Abra to potentially screw over. Fantastic.
He checked his rods for some damage before he sighed. Something gnawed at his thoughts, at the very edges of his psyche. It wasn't the virus, it was silent now, content with all the livers he ate. It was something else.

"Oh after what I've seen here, Im most certain we're from completely different worlds, Mr. Hara..." Lilith sat down with her legs crossed, and began to stare through the window. She was a little surprised that the officer decided to give up on the cuffs, but she didn't mind at all, obviously. "...None of you has an Element inside of you, which means that there's absolutely no chance you were born where Im from... So we'd have at least two different realms of our origins already, and since we broke this magic number, it doesn't really matter how many more are there, now does it? The fact stays the same."
Without peeling her eyes off of the window, she continued. "As for how we got here in particular, some Mad Hatter threw us in here, for yet another round of his little sick game... If you could tell us what's the whole deal with the Arena, and what this dimension is about, it'd probably decrease our chances of 'dropping out'...So, please..." Lilith finally backed off from the glass, and looked at the cop, smiling slightly.

"If it was just smoke I'd agree with you." Olson sighed. "But human progress has poisoned the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the soil we sow. The world definitely has lost its luster."
He looked over to Lilith then scanned the group. "So you got warped in. Sorry to hear but that sob story isn't the first time I heard it. This dimension is host to an Arena which entire purpose is using people from different dimensions as blood sport. Whether they be normal humans, magicians, robots, or aliens." He spun slowly in his seat as he ticked off the species on his fingers. "All victim to some sicko with money wrenching open a portal in their world and yanking them through it. Only incentive to fight being that if they win the finals, they can go back home." He chuckled drily. "You pave the path to your exit with the blood and tears of your enemies. But if you're a real strong one, they just so happen to yank you back, vicious cycle." He waved his hand around. He looked at them. "Only way to avoid being yanked back after you win is you gotta lose something." He chopped at his limbs. "I've seen and heard some nightmares."

Celestial sighed in relief when they didn't cuff him. He sat down, thankful to be sitting. He could feel his energy returning, which was good, since he was going to do a lot of fighting. He closed his eyes, but wasn't asleep. He listened to the conversation around him. His mind drifted to other places. He hasn't killed anyone yet, minus a shit ton of androids, so that made him happy. But he knew once he got to this arena, he'd have to take someone's life, and he didn't want to do that. He wasn't a killer. He wanted to use him magic to save people. This bullshit that Abra was putting him through needed to end.

"Alright steady down she goes." Reinhold announced. "We're getting close to the Arena, wish you guys the best of luck." Out the window they would see a giant black orb, like a planet floating in the sky. It was covered in flashing lights and advertisement billboards, and there was red boxes to indicate ship bays. The bay doors opened and the helocopter flew in and settled down and Reinhold let out a groan. "We're not the only cops here, Olson give our passengers a rundown, I'm going to see who else is here." He got out of his cockpit and opened the landing door, getting out and waving over at the other ship.
Olson unbuckled himself. "So guys you have to leave all your weapons just outside, sorry but you can't take them with you. They'll be transported to the armory and will be given back when you go into battle. You understand why right?" He walked out to join Reinhold and the inhabitants of the ship could hear the old man sigh.
"Oh shit it's Connor and his goons. Worst kind of luck." However the old man was a professional so he forced on a smile and they could hear him sound cordial as he yelled out. "Hello Officer Connor, and the Reilly twins, why're you guys here?"
"Hey if it ain't Old-timer and look, his little sidekick." They could hear a voice yell back, disrespect thick on his voice. "Well we got ourselves a copter full of prisoners, how about you?"
"We have a copter full of gladiators ourselves." Reinhold passively corrected the man.
"Oh, you got any girls? We captured a pretty specimen ourselves, but she's one of them assassin types, so she could be hiding weapons in her pussy and we don't wanna risk it." The other two laughed with him. "We're already here so we can just take them off your hands." He walked over to the copter and looked in and saw Lilith, "Oh ain't she a pretty one." As he went to walk in, Reinhold grabbed his arm and stopped him. "Hey let go Old-timer!"
"You will treat them with respect Officer Connor." Reinhold growled, his voice losing its politeness. "They are living beings and you will treat them as such, instead of as toys like some demented pervert." He pulled him out of the copter and pushed him back.
"God you old people and your codes of chivalry." Connor used air quotes around the last three words. "Come on they're gladiators, who cares what we do to them? No one will. Let's just have some fun. What do you say Olson? Want to join me and the boys?"
Olson grit his teeth. "Connor, we're officers of the law, we're supposed to use that power to do good, not abuse it for ourselves."
"Oh god Old-timer brainwashed you, poor you." Connor dramatically placed his hand over his eyes before bursting into laughter. "We are the law, whatever we do is good as long as we say so." He jeered and the other two officers backed him up. "Now get out of the way Old-timer, don't want to break your hip. What will your daughter think?"
"Don't you bring Lily into this!" Reinhold stepped forward menacingly and the other three put their hands to their guns. He pointed his finger at Connor, "Watch what you say boy."
Connor snickered. "Oh I'm so scared," he put his hands up and shook them. "Come on, you're past your prime, we'll leave you in our dust." He took off his armor and helmet. "Come on, show me what you got old man. I'll show you just how far you're stepping out of place."
Reinhold unbuckled his armor and bull rushed the young officer, picking him up and slamming him into the ground. He hadn't gotten the nickname Rhino off whim, but from his years out on the field and so Connor had made a big mistake picking a fight with him. Connor's punches seemed to just bounce off the older man's muscular frame and he struggled to get out the words for the other two to help him. But before they could grab their guns, both could feel a cold barrel pressed against their heads. "Sit your ass down." Olson growled, he had snuck up behind them and stolen their firearms. "Wait aren't these set to kill? What the hell?" He checked the gun setting and flicked back to stun. "You know that's against regulations."
"We have to protect ourselves from those mongrels." One of the twins jerked his head towards the gladiators. "Don't want them to turn on us." Olson shook his head and pistol whipped both of them then just continued to watch Reinhold deal Connor his just desserts.
The old man picked up Connor's crumpled body, unconscious out of sheer pain, bruises covered his body and it seemed like one of his arms was broken. "Olson, this kid is from your year right? Was this kid ace out of the academy?"
"I think so? Why?"
"Because that means you're going to start taking some lessons from me boy. I'm not letting some pansy marry my daughter." Reinhold growled as he put cuffs on Connor then threw Olson pairs to cuff the twins. "I'm going to take these idiots back to base, you finish escorting our passengers." He looked at the paled look on Olson's face and his grizzled face broke into a smile and he began laughing. A large booming laugh that didn't stop as he threw Connor over his shoulder, grabbed the twins by the collar of their uniforms and dragged them into the helocopter. He threw them into the hard metal seats and glass bubbles formed around them, encapsulating them. He snapped his fingers and the ship's inner defenses came out, stun turrets slid out of slots in the roof and pointed themselves at Connor and the Reilly twins, ready for them to just look at Reinhold wrong before they shot them with stun pellets. "When you're all done, you just take their copter alright?" Reinhold yelled from the cockpit. "Well I wish you six luck and hope you can get out of this hell. Hope to never see you guys again for your sake." And with that he left the bay doing a barrel roll, and because the cuffed individuals couldn't put on seatbelts, they were probably tumbling all over the place.
Olson took a few deep breathes to return the color back to his cheeks and went over to the other helocopter. He unlocked it and helped the six the three officers had caught out. Two were demihumans, large beings where one was part bull and the other part alligator. The alligator had a muzzle strapped over his face to prevent him from biting anyone. Olson could only loosen it to make it more comfortable as taking it off would endanger the safety of those around it. The rest he simply unlocked their cuffs as he surmised they too wouldn't be aggressive, it was simply Connor's sick sense of amusement that he did cuff them all to begin with. Olson did however put gloves on the Alligator's hands, sheathing the claws. He didn't need to worry about the muzzle as a police card was the only thing that could fully get it off. Before their initial shock of being free wore off, he was back to the original group. Employees of the Arena were already swarming all over the weapons that was there and the rest that was inside the other ship. "Well guys I think I'm going to lead you all to the medical ward first, check up on any injuries you or the other party may have sustained. Come on." He lead the way and the group took front while the other party tailed behind. Olson used his badge to ward off any employees or guards to stop them from impeding the journey, but it was a long way from the docking bay to the ward.
As they continued walking, the group behind them began talking, having been silent for most of the trip. Because of their distance, Olson couldn't hear them as he was too busy dealing with opening up a lane in the foot traffic for them to get through easily. The six could only hear a few words from their whispering conversation, but the word escape was being brandied about. As it was now only one cop guarding them, the assassin would have no trouble taking him out with just her hands and the woman began slowly speeding up, slipping her way through the group to reach Olson.

Whilst the encounter between policemen happened, Dino was enough lucky to be sitting right in front of the helocopter's door. Seeing the entirety of the scene unfold, he began developing a sense of sheer respect for Reinhold. Hell, if I wouldn't know this was a different dimension, I'd say the old man is kin.. After the rumble was over, Dino smiled at the man, although knowing he did not see him.
As the group merged with the other prisoners and began walking towards the inner parts of the arena, the Irish man carefully examined the other six prisoners. Odd species, a mix of human and creatures, except for the human. A woman. Her movements were sinuous and captivating, but most importantly, they were silent. To Dino's eyes it was quite obvious she worked in the shadows. An assassin, perhaps.
Plowing through the crowd proved to be difficult for Olsen, their boy in blue. Dino's mind was isolated from the chaos around him, being focused mostly on the 7 key individuals that accompanied his party. A suspicious movement caught his eye: the woman had slipped alongside Nocturn, and was advancing towards the head of the convoy. The Irish man read her intentions like an open book. With a fast step he lunged forward, Scorpion grasping the back of her neck and, hopefully, halting her advance. The move was bold, and Dino knew that if his read was correct, then retaliation was expected. He stood on the ready for sudden movements by the woman.
"Hold your horses, lass. None of us wants to make the situation worse." he whispered to her ear, his fingers pressing into the sides of her neck.
