Timothy had installed the strings beforehand, but he didn't want to use them just yet.
There was no choice, however.
He began to slowly inch his fingers of his right hand into the G-Chord position, while his left reached for a pick.

After they passed through the portal, Dino's nose immediately picked up the nasty smell, but he did not flinch. It somehow reminded him of Dublin. The Irish man took a deep breath, before sighing with a hint of nostalgia.

"What kind of beautiful place are we in now?" he cheerfully asked. Suddenly he felt something grab his leg. When he peered down onto the robot officer, his eyebrows frowned in confusion. He lightly attempted to kick the bot off his foot, but as he tagged along, Dino's patience reached its limit. In a flash, the Anaconda was aimed towards the tin can.

"Apologies, lad, but fuck the police." he stated with a grin on his face, firing a bullet right through the metal head of the robot. His eyes then scanned its surroundings, spotting so many different robots beginning to climb towards them. If it wasn't for the glasses, everybody could see the murderous glare in his eyes. With his characteristical calm, he pulled a cigarette out of his coat and lit it up, taking a very deep and long puff and holding it for a second, before exhaling and stepping forward, stomping the aluminium officer.

"Alright, ladies!" he loudly stated as he began taking his cross off his shoulder. With a quick move he popped open the main mechanism, revealing once again the entirety of his arsenal. He slowly shoved his Anaconda back into its holster and kicked open the ammo box, grabbing one of the orange flares. With a fast move, Dino ignited the stick and threw it on the ground, next to the cross.

"I hope you are ready to rumble," he stated with a calmer voice tone, as he grabbed two Mac 10's from somewhere inside his cross. The first thing that was immediately noticeable on the guns was the abnormal length of the magazines. Dino quickly spun on his toes, facing the precipice of the robotic hill that was attempting to kill them.

" 'Cause we about to play some King of the Fuckin Hill!" he shouted yet again, firing a couple of shots to the clouds, carried away by the excitement. After his warcry was concluded, he lowered the weapons along his body and glared back at the rest of the group. The way he smiled was psychotic to say the least.

"Boy, I'm excited..."

Matthew walked over the trash piles, his mind still whirling with his brief encounter with Bartholomew. His thoughts were interrupted as he noticed Dino's leg get grabbed by an android-type robot. Matthew whipped out his ACST, and suddenly every android around them seemed to come to life at the same time. Oh...a zombie apocalypse remake, except with robots. How cruel.

His ACST ignited, bathing him in a sapphire aura.

"Bring it!" he yelled at the approaching horde. "You're no match for the power of our combined awesomeness!"

Lilith grimaced as the stench reminding her of Flamman slums hit her nostrils. One of few smells that she genuinely did not enjoy. "Where are we now...? Are these...machines?" She picked up one of the severed heads to get a closer look, then looked down at the rest of the 'corpses' below. "Huh...indeed, a machine that was supposed to resemble of a human persona... Interesting but...what's the point?"

Suddenly, the eyes of the head she was holding lit up, as it began to talk, or rather almost scream right at her face. Surprised, the woman extended her arms further away from herself, and dropped it, letting the head tumble down the hill with a series of clink and clanks following it. That one robot wasn't the only particular one to wake up however. They all suddenly 'came back' to life, and began to crawl up the hill. Lilith didn't even have to hear the conversation in the distance to know that the situation turned dire. Why and how would anything pleasant come out of this scenario, especially since it was arranged by Abra after all...

"Well you sure are Mr. OH-Hara..." She put a needlessly strong emphasis on the beginning of his last name, most likely on purpose this time. Just to keep teasing him. "...Though I can't say Im not moderately excited myself..." She adjusted her glasses, before extending her arm in front of herself again. "...First we're gonna scrap them, then Im gonna see how good of a job their creator did, and why did he on the first place..." Large orb of swirling ash appeared right above her palm, and soon after, five to six segmented lashes of bone and flesh extended from it, swinging around wildly. They were to cut, pierce, slash and tear apart anything that came within their reach, that itself was surprisingly impressive, thanks to the ash reserve at the 'weapon's' base.

If Nocturn's face could contort to show absolute rage, it would show now. Instead, his actions delivered it.

The zombie from Lantern's Cross unsheathed both his rods and stared at the androids. His eyes gleamed with unfettered anger as he smashed his weapons onto the android's heads and bodies. The gears of his spine clicked and whirred and internal cogs sped to a point of anyone hearing its dangerous spins. Nocturn was venting out but he still tried to make sure none of his allies were in the crossfire.

Celestial's face scrunched up in disgust as the smell hit his nose. The dumpsters in the back of his family's diner back home didn't even smell this bad.

The next thing he knew, he was surrounded by dying androids. Heard them call out for parts as the group had fallen in. Celestial kicked them off of him, smacking them away with his spell book before he snapped his fingers and the spell book opened up to a page with fire spells. Celestial held out his hand and it glowed red before fire balls flew out of them. He shot them at the androids, trying his best to keep them from grabbing him. "Don't touch me, you damn toasters!"

As they fell to the group's valiant defenses, a new sound mixed in with the chaos. The sound of pleading androids, their voices wrought with despair and terror as those who made it to the top were sent crashing down to the bottom, broken but still functional. Functional enough to watch as desperate androids began tearing them apart for salvageable parts, functional enough to plead for their lives as they lost everything they've been building up for. As they watched their "Tower of Babel" collapse, as their delusional dreams were dismantled in front of them with the loss of their limbs and system. But the waves of delusional androids weren't becoming any thinner as the sound of their conflict woke up more and more androids across the junkyard. Crawling over those tearing apart other androids, crawling over the ruin and the wreckage to reach the group on top of the hill.

"Jesus Christ they're lighting the entire junkyard up with activity!" A cop looked up from the copilot seat of the helocopter. "They must be really fighting for their lives."

"Do you blame them? They are fighting for their lives. One slip up and they'll wish they're offed themselves instead of dealing with getting torn limb from limb." The other cop shivered, remembering some cases where scavengers were caught by the androids and they had to shoot down androids to retrieve the corpses, the delusional bots draped with the victim's innards, human organs being ground between gears.

Dino continued to pour a deadly steel rain upon the androids that kept challenging his side of the hill. Even though the situation was becoming more difficult, his excited edge was still there. But no matter how content the Irish man was of this fight, he did understand the tides were turning against them, slowly but steadily.

Suddenly his Mac 10's run out of ammo. He scoffed, turning around to grab a replacing set of magazines. Suddenly a bizarre sound alerted him: when he glanced behind him, one android was coming flying towards him, shouting "MASTER!". But Dino's reaction time was top notch: as he turned around, he used the centrifugal force to throw the Mac from his right hand towards the tin can. The firearm collided with the robot mid air, sending the arm in the air and the robot to the ground. With the speed of an old western duelist, Dino extracted his Anaconda from its holster, put a shot through the head of the android and holstered the weapon. All of it in less than 1,5 seconds. The Irish man carelessly snagged out of the air the flying firearm, which did not have the time to fall to the ground. He turned around again, facing the cross and searching through the ammo box.

"Master of Puppets I'm pulling your striiings..." he murmurred as he reloaded his guns.
"Twisting your mind, smashing your dreams..." his voice becoming now clearer to the others, Dino checked the firearms, ensuring they were ready for another round.
"Blinded by me you can't see a thing..." The Irish man stood up and spun around, taking a couple of steps towards the precipice of the robotic hill and glancing down.
"Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear your scream..." His eyes caught a dozen of robots in his immediate surroundings, all chanting the same word as they headed up the hill. Ironically, it matched with Dino perfectly.
"Master! Master!" he shouted out with a devilish grin on his face, before unleashing another deadly raffica of bullets upon the helpless androids.

As the crowd began to thicken, so did Lilith's defenses. Six additional lashes emerged from the hill of mechanized corpses, around the woman in relatively close proximity. They were only slightly larger than the ones she had in her palm, but their range was fairly limited. They were the second bastion of defense, destined for those who survived the 'blender' surrounding Lilith.

The woman stood there indifferent, with one hand in coat's pocket and the other extended in front of herself, watching the art of destruction play its scene around her. Lashes were trashing about wildly, like an enraged octopus equipped with razor-sharp knives, that were cutting through the metal as if it was warm butter. While one of the lashes pierced droid's head and threw him down the hill, the other two thorn the second one into two halves, just to get their grip on yet another one without stopping. And there was at least a dozen of them, each dealing with its threat within less then a second upon the contact.

It was an effective self-defense technique least to say, but it had its flaws. As it gave superior protection to the user, it was selfish. Lilith would have a hard time helping out anyone outside of her circle of death right now, as she used most of the ash on what she got going already. She also knew, that it offered absolutely no protection from any kind of ranged weapon. Thankfully these things were just running at them like some brainless lemmings.

"Any ideas how to get out of this mess?! We're not going to hold this place forever..." Lilith tried to yell over the tumult of the battle, and Dino screaming his lungs out, in some madman's chant.

More and more androids began coming in waves and it was getting very intense. The pages flipped to a new spell and this time, Celestial's hand began to glow purple. He put his hand in front of him and a wave of purple energy pulsed from his hand, knocking the androids away. However more continued to come and he did this spell over and over.

I'm going to die, he thought to himself. I'm never gonna see my family again. He could begin to feel the magic take its toll on him and he began to grow fearful.

He heard Lilith call out and he sighed. He had no idea how to get out. He sucked at teleportation and he didn't have enough energy left to teleport them all. "You're the brains of the team, don't you have any ideas!?!"

Nocturn leapt towards another android, crushing the thing underneath him. He swept his rod to and fro, literally cleaving through swathes of decrepit androids. He rammed through some of the androids right in front of Celestial straight through towards Matthew and ended it by beheading an android, sending its head flying over the horizon.

"I suggest you all think quick," he breathed. "Else we'll all be spare parts."

He smashed another android head underfoot. Nobody could tell, but he was enjoying every bit of it.

Matthew broke focus on attacking for just a few moments, nodding a thank you in Nocturn's direction.

"Honestly though..." Matthew told the zombie, "I could literally do this all day if I concentrate hard enough, but I'm just worried about all you guys."

He flicked his wrist, slashing a robot neatly in half with his blade.

"I guess the more bots I fight, the less everyone else has to deal with." he continued, somersaulting between an android's legs. He then spun quickly, taking out the bot's legs and sweeping up to cleave its torso in half.

Whirling amidst the androids, Matthew became a ninja nightmare. The bots gave way to his ACST easily, but his small size could pose a problem if he let himself get swarmed.

There was a break in the horde, and while Matthew stood ready, he realized the next wave looked pretty big.

He glanced around at his teammates. Well...they seemed to be holding up pretty well...in his opinion anyway. The androids swept in, their chorus of pleading voices getting on his nerves. Still in his ready stance, Matthew raised his free hand, and water began to pool from beneath his feet.

Within moments, he was surrounded by a whirling prismatic orb of water. The orb split open forcefully, sending any android near it into the sky. A serpentine form swirled into the air, landing hard and sending a radial shockwave expanding from its body. The wave passed harmlessly through allies, but the androids were a different story. The robots were smashed aside, the weaker ones flying to bits while the others were sent airborne.

The winged water serpent coiled around Matthew, hissing. As the androids recovered and advanced again, the serpent roared, spitting boiling water at any hostile that came close.

[OOC: Water and electronics traditionally don't mix well...so are some of the androids waterproof? Or do Matthew's aquatic attacks really hurt them badly?]

More androids fell, but more came to take their place. They had an opportunity to leave this junkyard and go back to the real world. To rid themselves of this rust and junk that clings to their body and to have a normal life again. They weren't going to let it slip from their fingers so easily. They kept advancing, using the mangled corpses of their fallen to advance, if but only an inch at a time. Dino went to reload and an android grabbed his coat, Nocturn's rods were grasped by two individual androids, and everyone else were meeting such complications as well.

When from out of the smog-ridden sky, came a vehicle, pulsing blue and red. It looked like a lobster, the head being the cockpit and the claws being two large cannons. Its legs consisted of floodlights and propellers that kept it afloat. Sky blue plasma bolts rained from the sky, melting the androids into contorted metal frames. With screams of anger and defeat, the androids fled. One held grimly onto Tim, screaming, "I was so close, I was so-" A plasma charge sank into its head, turning it into a tide of orange goo that dripped down its body, an eye floated down before being enveloped within. A rope dropped from the back of the helocopter, attached was a foothold and a hand grip. One by one the group was pulled up and into the safety of the vehicle, the machine not tipping or faltering at the weight of Dino or Nocturn.

"Well that was close. Nice to meet you I'm Officer Olson." A young cop waved. He had blond hair and hazel eyes, a well built man who sported light metal armor that had pulsing police lights on it as well. "Driving is my senior, Officer Rhino-"

"That's Reinhold to you boy. And to think I'm letting my daughter marry your smart mouth." The older officer put the helocopter on hover mode and stepped out. He had a large walrus moustache to fit his slight pouch of a belly but besides that, he could fit the name Rhino, wearing slightly heavier armor than his junior. "So you do any scans for IDs yet? Because boy I think these aren't civis."

"Doing it now." The whole hold turned red and the boy kept his eyes glued to a screen, when the room came back he sighed. "Yep, we saved ourselves some gladiators."

The older man sighed and pulled out circular bracelets from a compartment. "Sorry for busting your escape there, but it's either you come back with us, or you fall back in there." He pointed at the junkyard. "Don't think of hijacking this vehicle, only authorized people can operate it. And before you get any funny ideas, we can also make it blow up. So please, just put on the handcuffs."

Celestial grabbed the rope and held on with his last bit of energy. Once on the helicopter, he stood there silently, trying to recover his strength. As he listened to the two cops banter at each other, he sighed.

When Officer Rhino pulled out the handcuffs, Celestial snapped his fingers, causing his spell book to float next to him. "Honestly, I'm too exhausted to fight." he held out his wrists in compliance.

Matthew's serpent had reduced itself to a smaller form after the rescue, just so it could fit in the ship with its master. Its prismatic eyes whirled with color, and it curled its little body tightly around Matthew's left arm. At the mention of handcuffs the serpent bared its little fangs, hissing loudly. Matthew glared at the cops.

"You'll never take me alive!" he said defiantly, but after a good look back down at the androids below, he changed his mind. Putting his hands out, he muttered to himself, staring daggers at Reinhold. After a few moments of this, he looked away as his water serpent rubbed against the side of his face.

"Don't worry," he told it. "If anybody tries to mess with my friends, I'm going to kick their butts into the next dimension."

All he had to do was wait and see how everything played out. The only problem was...Matthew hated waiting.
