One of the bubbles turned red, a deep crimson that spread like ink until the entire thing was opaque. However the other stayed transluscient and the poor victim stayed floating inside, only able to watch the other die. A scream sent a white stream of bubbles breaking through the water prison and when it melted to the floor, Kyle collapsed onto his hands and knees and threw up water so that he could scream more. Lilith stared at the result confused, why wasn't he dead as well?
"My my wasn't that flashy." Abra whistled. He stood next to Dino and another one of him sat next to Tim, looking at the scene unfold from the box between his fingers. Both of them talked at the same time. "How brutal, killing two leaders." He sighed.
"A bit enthusiastic, which is a good thing, but if we left it at that, it'd be boring wouldn't you agree?" The Abra with Lilith's group tweaked her cheek.
Suddenly there was commotion outside and the tent flaps were whipped open to expose an enraged Samuel. "What did you do Lilith?" He huffed.
A guard ran into the tent. "She has been in here the entire time sir, she hasn't..." He looked at what had left Samuel speechless.
Samuel opened his mouth then closed it, before finally uttering. "Why are you here?"
The guard looked back, "Sir you know this man? How did he get in here?" Abra sighed and with a snap of his fingers the man's eyes were seared out of his face and he collapsed onto the floor where the ground consumed him.
"Why are you here?" Samuel asked again, his hand going for his cane.
"Now now Samuel, please let us be civil." Abra nonchalantly brushed his sleeves, when he looked up he stared down the blade of Samuel's blade, the sheath already floating behind the old man like a wing, the four blades hovering in mid air. "You used to be so much more polite Samuel." Abra spun his finger and the blades in the air crossed over the grizzled man's neck. "Now put down the sword."
A hiss escaped Samuel's teeth and he put down his sword. "Now tell me, Abra. Why are you here?"
Abra smiled, "Why don't you tell us why you're here Samuel."
"I was going to ask Miss Lilith if she had anything to do with Mark's death, but your presence here confirms it."
"A bit enthusiastic don't you agree?" He nudged Dino with his elbow. " I mean she doesn't even give us the chance to have some fun. Trying to end everything so quickly like that." He laughed.
"So it was you..." Kyle coughed as he wiped his mouth. "Of course it was you, there's no other explanation to it." Kyle slowly got up and walked over to Abra, grabbing ahold of the man's lapels as he yelled. "You killed Roy! You sick piece of shit! Why are you back here?"
"And it's nice to see you too Kyle." Abra pat the boy's head.
"Get your hands off me! I'll kill you this time." Kyle grabbed the magician's forearm with the intent to break it.
"Now Kyle, behave yourself." Abra growled. "Or we'll have a repeat of what happened last time." Everyone in the immediate vacinity staggered as the pressure around Abra intensified. Kyle let go and let his arms fall to his side.
"Why are you back here?"
Abra smiled, "Well I have good reason to be here. And it comes with the simple conclusion that Lilith's party would have won the event if I had let this go." Abra shrugged, "However, it'd be boring if we end on that note yea? So I "balanced" the outcome a bit. Now both of you have one leader left. Now you gentlemen and ladies may wonder, what other reason could I possibly have to prolong this battle. Well the answer is simple, you guys don't know what's at cost if you lose. And I'm here to tell you." Abra snapped his fingers and everyone could see it in their head, something they hold dear and close to their heart. "That's the cost. If you lose, that's what you lose. So then," he clapped his hands. "Let's see some hustle out there!"
