1. One of the few actual batmen to use that fucking grappling hook like actual BatMan.
2. Alfred takes an active role in crimefighting with the BatMan, not just the AI of the BatWing.
Is it just me or did you feel like they took a fake Robert Downey and made him British then cast him in this movie as Alfred? I love the Alfred here too, dareisay even better than the Bale trilogy.
3. Cybprg and the Motherbox. Not really much of a fan yet of the New 52, but I'm glad their sticking to some origins.
4. Sudden reference to Flashpoint Paradox... or something of the sort.
My brother says its actually Injustice. He says the film is heavily trying to adopt the plots from Injustice. I doubt it can be Flashpoint because no DC movie in the past has ever attempted the concept of multiple universes and now suddenly they're introducing the concept of retcons? Slow down there boy.


Throw Outs:
1. BatMan kills without flinching. Seriously, this is a major thing for me. Even in the cartoon where Batman dons that iron suit where the movie gets it from, he doesn't kill.

When he held the gun to kill Joker, he didn't know how. He missed two or three times before the Joker fucking snapped his own neck.

Sure, he turns brutal in that cartoon but he didn't lose his code. He never should lose it.
Alot of hardcore fans seem to take great offense at this; and I don't really get it and neither does my brother. The thing is, the setting is pretty dystopian and we're already placed inside the timeline of this Batman's existence. It makes itself clear from the beginning of the movie that this Batman is warped. And this actually makes sense given the ideological clash being set up behind the scenes. I like this brave bold step the director is taking; because its such a refreshing take on the mythos without making it an embarrassment or a wrongful act.

BUUUT. If you do some digging on the Internet, you'll find out that Zack apparently thought killing by proxy was okay. And so he went into this movie, knowing exactly what he was doing. Yeah. I know, this doesn't help my argument, but honestly I just put that there to show the movie doesn't want you to focus on his no-kill code.

2. How the Flash was revealed. Isn't that like, already a give away for anyone with that footage? I mean, if Captain Cold got a hand of that he would be hunting down that person. That cctv footage is there. Its more on Wally's mistake though...just why. Carelessness haha...sigh.
3. Superman and Batman becomes buds the second they learn their moms share a name. I feel as if it was a weak way of getting them to be buddies all of a sudden.
I think the problem in this scene wasn't how it ended, but how it was presented. One of my gripes with the movie is how the trailers and promotional material outright lie to you. Superman isn't fighting Bats; he just sort of kinda was dragged into it. It was too bad because the ideological clash was there and Zack didn't do anything about it. If he had omit the scene where Lex blackmails Supes, the fight would've made much more sense. And when Martha's name is mentioned later, Batman could have hesitated not because of contrivance, but because of his implied detective skills (subtly revealed earlier in the movie).

4. The intro where young Bruce is raised by the bats into the air. Like...what.
I called on that too but my brother says Bruce mentions it was a dream. So, Ill hav to watch it again

5. Lex Luthor... is jittery. A lot. He shakes a bit and doesn't feel like Luthor from the animated series or the comics. When I think Luthor, I think evil BatMan, he didn't give that vibe to me. Instead he got the other part of Luthor: obsessive genius.
Okay okay okay. ALOT of people are saying this movie's Lex is pretty bad. First off, and I don't think anyone's noticed this but the Lex in this movie is the original Lex' Son. Correct me if I'm wrong. But in the scene at the party, Lex specifically mentions that the Lex in his Corporation name is from his father. I seriously believed that from the moment I saw him, I saw this guy. I know: really stupid, but that just made sense that he wouldn't act like how we know the real Lex acts. I excused it.

I thought that the plan in this movie was excellent, if only because anything is better than the plan to make a floating kryptonite continent. A few kinks in the plot though like I wish Superman managed to continue the Senate hearing a bit before the explosion.

I half think this Lex is ok, if only because I wish he was the Riddler instead.

I kind of agree now that you mention it. Him being a british RDJ. Alfred is better here for me as well.

Well, I dunno. It's hard to look at it the way it is since Bruce has found harder situations than right now in comics and animation... anyways, since this is a movie take on it and it is something new, okay. Not everything was followed by Avengers too, though it pains me more for Batman.

Agreed. I was expecting a clash of ideas not superman being blackmailed.

If it is junior, then alright. I need to pay attention more to first introductions. Although what lead most fans was of course the trailers. We were somewhat fed this is the Lex Luthor. The plan would've blown a lot more minds if they hadn't revealed Diana in her costume and Doomsday in the trailers. I realize that they planned on having Bats take on a criminal of his own during this movie prior to the battle with Supes. Supposedly, it was the Riddler. Haha. Hopes were raised.

Don't you feel as if Doomsday was used too early? I feel as if he's a League class villain. Like Zod.
