Can the moves be of any variation like 'kick =/= spinning back kick'?

By the way guys, judge here. It'd be super crazy great if you guys put preloaders before animations if you're uploading them as flash. You know what would be super crazy greater though? If you put like a button on the lower most right corner that links back to the start of the combo (you can make it invisible) especially if your animation is not straightforward (i.e. has long intros). That way it's not super hard to rewatch the important thing. If you're submitting a gif, it'd be super crazy great if you turned it into a .gifv format on imgur so that there'll be a navigation bar. But if you can though, YouTube is something I mos def prefer the most over everything else.

These aren't new rules or anything, just things that I would definitely appreciate and things that would definitely speed up the judging process (at least, for me). I'm not saying it will add to your scores, it won't, but I will definitely really really like it a lot.

Again, these aren't new rules, just so we're clear. Just ways of appeasing me without expecting anything in return other than my thanks.

And by the way, here are the most common things that I've commented to a lot of people from round 1:

1. Not enough theme integration - The theme was Urban Brawl, why are you just making a standard stickfight and drawing buildings at the back! You could've totally made it unique to the theme, like maybe have a fight while on skateboard, or have the sticks fight because of a gang war, or fighting while running an office errand. Make the most out of the theme!

2. Making a short combo feel even shorter - Having a super fast fight that lasts 2 seconds, while not necessarily bad, just makes it hard to appreciate the whole combo. Some would just animate two jabs, then one kick to the guy, and make a finish with some standard elbow swing. You could have been totally creative with the hits: punches can mean a lot of things like a super punch from space into the middle of an underground drug deal or something.

3. The combo cannot be broken - This should be obvious. No in-between attacks, no counter attacks, nothing extra unless otherwise stated. If your only idea of making a better combo is changing it, then you need to be a lot more creative. I subtract some points if this happens, regardless of the quality of the animation.

4. Finish the animation - I do not like missing body parts. I do not like heads that disappear then reappear. Come on guys, let's be a bit more professional than that.

5. Don't use too many shortcuts - So alright the two sticks have a bit of a gap between each other at the start. A lot of times, animating the closing of this gap would be super tiresome, and a lot of you would use teleportation to cut down the effort needed. Or like, just one 3-meter looking jump. Or just 6 frames of a run. This really bothers me because it's not exciting and it's not a good opener for a combo.

Those are just some that I can remember off the top of my head, I hope you guys take note of it so we can get a really cool round 2!

When the kick is not specified, it can be ANY type of kick. Same with other types of moves.

Although I prefer to have it this way since my combos are mainly simple 2D stick fights, I still keep in mind that this competition is named "Best SEQUENCE Exicutions" and not "Best combo excicutions". Wich is why I allowed for the defending stickfigure to throw moves inbetween the combo that misses. BUT I do see how this could be very much missused as it pretty much would allow for as long of a sequence as you want. So my final statement on this would be that the combo should NOT be added anything to or removed anything from. Me personaly though, I wont retract points if there is 1 move from the defending stickfigure that misses or is used to start the combo off, but overdoing it will lead to a lower score.

I didn't deduct the scores if the attacked stick attempts to make a counter and misses. I was talking about the ones where like the first 3 hits of the combo is done by one stick and then the rest is done by the other stick, or if the attacked stick attempts a counter and hits, or if the attacking stick attacks multiple other sticks.
