Anyone here played Touhou Project?
What is touhou project its a series of Japanese Bullet hell Games made by Team Shanghai Alice sole member Zun. It also have a record on guiness world records for Most Prolific Fan Made Shooter. It also have some spin offs like a fighting game.

Rather, I'm surprised that this thread hasn't been made yet. Basically the biggest fandom on the internet yet nothing on this forum. I guess there's not much people here who are crazy on it haha.

I really love playing this game, and I heard that the last series came out at 2015 am I correct? *correct me if I'm wrong*

One of my favourite series of Touhou is the Embodiment Of Scarlet Devils. Why? I guess I'm in love with those sisters.

Yes it was release 2015 of April its name is Legacy of the Lunatic Kingdom i Love it when it comes to Clownpiece. First time seeing in a bullet hell series that someone will use a moon to kill you

My favorite series is Touhou 8 Imperishable Night
1. Fairly easy when you get those patterns
2. Good background music along with the one in Extra Stage Mokou its name is Reach the Moon eternal smoke
3. Characters that are lovely that includes Reisen and Fujiwara no Mokou

What i don't like in Touhou 8
1. Xu Fu Dimension is hard when you use characters other than Reimu Team

My favorite character is Aya which is the Wind Tengu, She is a newswriter, Can take down bullets using her camera and pretty fast. She's an awesome character to use in Touhou 9 Phantasnagoria Flower View because she could slow bullets while her spells card could overwhelm the enemy using swift bullets. In 10.5 Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and 12.3 Hisoutensoku (Fighting Game) she could easily take down enemies with swift attacks but purely bad in enemies that just spam bullets. In touhou 9.5 Shoot the bullet it was pretty hard in first because you need to picture your enemy while dodging bullets

Yes there is an Anime version though Zun discontinued it but thanks to the Fans they made so many Fan Made Series about it

They are ManpukuJinja. I still remembered their name a bit.

The characters are over 30 but they are really lovely.
Phantasmagoria Of Flower View is really interesting to me too. Even tho I liked Perfect Cherry Blossom and Undefined Fantastic Object rather than that, but it's still awesome. Does he still releases the Touhou series? I really want to play it more.

Even tho hell shooting bullets hurt my eyes, goddamn ;-; I still love the game

Have you ever play touhou 12.8 Great Fairy Wars? The joke that is spread about Cirno came from Touhou 9 where in the Manual the tooltip on her is Baka or 9. Thats why september 9 2009 09:09:09 is Cirno Day lel.

Reimu doesn't have any powers to fly in early touhou games making her ride a turtle starting in Touhou 2

All that made me interested is Yukari. She really has many secrets tho..... some of them I dunno yet. But I'm pretty sure she's having something with Marisa. Is she?

And I really wanna know... what's up with Marisa and Alice

Yukari is one of the strongest youkai in gensokyo that could manipulate the borders of anything she could also go back and fourth from the human world to the world of Gensokyo (The Train Spell Card though). She is lazy and sleeps all day in Perfect Cherry Blossom everything starts when Yuyuko asked her friend Yukari to open the border between Gensokyo and Netherworld so they could start gathering the spring (Yukari wanted to explain it but she is too lazy to do so). She doesn't have anything about Marisa but she have one about Reimu that Yukari sometimes sleeps there and steal some objects from Reimu.

About Marisa and Alice Margatroid before Alice became a Youkai. Marisa and Alice are friends from Touhou 2 thats all i know fans made those cute partnering making Alice looks like a tsundere also there is Marisa and Patchouli it started because Marisa stole one of Patchouli's Spell Card and steal some books from Voile the Magic Library because its water proof.

Where would you recommend I start from in these games(i.e is there an actual storyline), and is there a place to get them easily?
