"That's how bullshit the concept for this round is."

Agreed. The comedic aspect is gonna be hard as hell to pull off without coming across as corny or unprofessional. And the problem with the type of comedy that you linked is that they sacrifice quality for the humor. You know, the more raunchy and distorted something looks, the "funnier" it is. But that kinda defeats the purpose in this case. I'm sure that most people are just going to focus heavily on the other criteria to get by. Good luck. It's looking nice.

Exactly. You really can't make an action-comedy animation that not only is predominantly stick-figure based, is quality, is humorous, lengthy, is done in traditional stick figure fashion (with music and linearly based) YET original, AND done in such a small period of time. This prompt forces you to compromise no matter what, and it's really annoying knowing that you don't know how much each thing is weighted to know how much to compromise for each. Like, even with exceld's work which looks like it's the only one truly comedy based so far, it looks like it won't really be actionb-ased at all and will just be a short that is some whacky Pokemon parody.

This prompt is really contradictory, and that has nothing to do with creativity or originality. This prompt beckons rehashing, genericness, and compromise. Even now, I can guarantee mine will not be deemed comedic enough, so I began to conject "comic cliches" into my work now (i.e., lol fgt, ur ghey, etc.).

The Dominant Stick series is pretty funny. It also does well in the action-comedy category.

EDIT: Also after giving it some thought there is a good amount of action-comdey based animations on here aswell.

-Gynse's Sonic GTL
-Geo's Shock More...also most of Geo's animation
-Chuck vs Alfa
-Drunken Stick
-Fordz Scribblenauts animation had some funniez

That's all I can really list but I'm sure its possible to have creative humor. I also do tho run into the problem of actually coming up with funny creative concepts other than funny loking stick figure but whatever

Very true. For someone like me who's doing a video game that's not all that well known, I'm automatically crippling myself from being able to rely on inside jokes or quirks that other players might be able to catch. But even someone like Dipi or exceld who're doing very popular and well-understood games, are still running the risk of failing in the originality aspect. This is complicated, but it sure is a good motivator to branch out and search for creativity.

I remember I found a way to use CS4 for free, and I eventually stopped using it, because on any big project I was working on, it would eventually just crash anytime I tried to copy anything. There was one big project I was working on, flash crashed like 20 times because of that reason.
