Omega, the Usurper King
Still not enough emphasis...
“My people, I return to you to see that some of you had forsaken me. However, for those of that have remained faithful your boons have been plentiful even when compared to the harshness of my usurpers. Your loving god has returned.
...Now, let us turn our attention from where I have returned. After an intense battle I found myself abandoned on a little planet called Earth. It is full of resources, a plentiful population, and is a relatively out of the way on the cosmic scale. For the purpose of colonies, I would say it is a prime planet for conversion. So starting today, I am taking a platoon of soldiers with me in order to make our empire an even greater place.”

A black metal covers the thin frame of a humanoid body. It’s head is triangle shaped and gets taller in the back, a snake-like shape. The joints look like they belong to a doll, where limbs almost look as though they’ve been “plugged in” to his torso. It has no clothing, although he also has no genitals to kick or speak of.
A small, lipless mouth that’s only positions seem to be neutral, smiling, or frowning (So he can’t purse his lips or do this shit: :?). Two gem-like, red, glowing eyes lay flat underneath a prominent brow. Said brow forms a V-shape, pointy end in front. Said brow also juts about a centimeter outward, and creates a clear division between the upper and lower head.
Adorned on his back are eight tentacles. If you were to draw a line through them, it’d be a circle. However, four of them are bound right, same with the left; there is no tentacle attached to his spine. For about every two inches, these tentacles are segmented by pieces of black metal. New segments seem to appear in between others when they extend

Imagine that one douchebag at work. Yeah, your boss, Tod. Now take everything about him you hate and multiply it by a largely irrelevant number as in our current age emotions are unquantifiable.
He acts like he’s perfectly in control, as though nothing ever could go wrong and that he is never doing anything wrong. A god complex is prominent in him. He believes himself to be the chosen god of his people and any logical attempt to prove him wrong is easily dismissed by his insistence.
He also tends to be the center of attention. It’s hard to tell if he likes it or if it happens on accident, however he is prone to making speeches or display power to glorify himself. His way of speaking also creates this vibe of an prominent political figure. He doesn’t swear and he goes through elaborate attempts to insult someone, usually based on the fact that they are human. Speaking of…
Omega is incredibly racist. He shows aspects of a benevolent god when referring to his people, promising to prosper them and going out of his way to compensate those who are loyal to him. His idea of morality is still “what I want is what is right,” however he still appreciates his beloved citizens. Other species exist purely to be slaves or “converted,” (It’s okay, that word will make sense soon enough) and in his eyes they aren’t people but merely obstacles to his kingdom’s quality of life.

Abilities (Click to Show)
Alien Biology: Omega is not human (I know, shocker), of course, this naturally means he has absolutely zero problems humans encounter because there’s no way aliens would ever have shortcomings.
In all seriousness though, Omega has some strange traits being an alien. In his chest where you would find the heart and lungs, he has 8 orbs that are spread about in an erratic manner. These fulfill all of the basic life functions that Omega’s species needs. They also control speech and even hearing and the like. The only thing they do not control is sight, which means poking Omega’s eyes out and decapitation accomplish the same thing. Really, the mouth is just for show.
The orbs feel like glass to the touch like glass to the touch but have a consistency like rubber. They’re also about as tough as this rubber glass would seem to be: Extremely resistant to bludgeoning, slashing seems to work well. They are a creamy, cherry-like red color with white swirls mixed in. They lose color when destroyed and just seem to be glass. They will maintain color when removed from the body, however.
Metallic Body: Omega’s body is largely metal (no shit, really?), making him quite durable. This metal also acts as his skin and is weak at joints, he needs to move after all. This metal is a softer-than-normal steel. Due to the nature of metal, the softness means it is less practical for slicing trees but also harder to cut through. Though, in certain places the metal is extremely hard (thus making it more brittle), these places include tips of tentacles, fingers, knees (the shins has a section that points upward over the knee cap. So if he knees someone, it’s like getting stabbed with a knife), and elbows (same deal as shins, except now it’s the forearm over the elbow).
Healing Factor: Omega recovers from limbs at an unreal rate. Whole limbs could be repaired in 15 minutes. It’s not anything instantaneous like Wolverine, however given time to recover he could swing a fight back horribly in his favor. Tentacles recover faster than other limbs, but it’s still long for combat standards at 4 minutes for a whole tentacle
Tentacles: Omega has 8 tentacles on his back that can lengthen at will up to a distance of 20 feet (or 6.1 meters approx. if you're not American). They are covered in metal like the rest of his body, and they are pointed so they can stab things.
Omega Halo: This is Omega’s holy artifact, a weapon made to celebrate his victory in taking over the previous king’s position. It is a blunt, circular object that is 2.5 feet in diameter. From the center, eight inanimate (I feel the need to specify that, on what is just a weapon) tentacles sprawl out and grip the edge. It glows gold in color, and weighs about the same amount as. It is also indestructible. Omega will refer to the metal used to make this as “Divinium.”
The halo also holds within it another power: which Omega has dubbed Metallon Kineticism. When he uses this, the Omega Halo will begin to “Heat up” and it’s glow will go from that of a nightlight to that of a light-bulb. As it glows brighter he becomes more powerful with it’s use. When he has “heated-up” the halo he the ability to control metal at will. It doesn’t need to be ferrous metal. He can use this ability to slowly fly (as in, hardly more than walking speed). He will also use this in conjunction with his tentacles for acrobatic maneuvers. He can lift about 500 pounds of metal with enough concentration, he can throw objects up to 200 pounds at high velocities. Although during this he has a limited range of 20 feet, however he can throw things beyond that range, like how an arm can only grab a rock within range but can throw it quite the distance. The Omega Halo cannot use it's Metallon Kineticism on itself.

Weaknesses (Click to Show)
Metal Skin: Having metal skin comes with it’s own weaknesses. These being things like magnets, rust, etc. However, Omega’s skin will also sometimes dig into his own flesh and cause serious muscle damage. His only real way of dealing with this is ripping it off, usually with tentacles in very impromptu surgeries. He also has to do this or else his injury could heal incorrectly, which could severely cripple him.
Balance Issues: No I’m not talking about how this character is definitely more powerful than others. Omega’s tentacle are a lot of weight this leaves him quite top-heavy which sometimes carries it’s own problems. However, Omega really has issues when his tentacles are not symmetrical. This ruins trajectory, his ability to maneuver around certain corners, and the like.
Blood Loss: Now, for most people mass blood loss will cause problems. However, from most standard injuries the healing factor Omega has is enough to deal with it. But, it is a well known fact amongst most species that the way to kill a member of Omega’s species (plz send help, it has yet to be dubbed) is to use weapons specifically designed to cause bleeding and then leave the weapon inside them. The blood is what the health regen comes from, a constant loss and Omega won’t have enough to heal wounds. It’s also impossible to heal a wound if something’s in the way, like a sword.
Also, oil flames will stop the bloodflow of Omega’s species for some reason, they cannot regenerate wounds made by them. It has no explanation and seems almost magically put there as if their creator needed a fail-safe...
Orbs: Temple of Doom style execution takes a lot longer on Omega, but is the most effective way to kill him. With each orb in his chest removed, Omega becomes significantly weaker, slower, and his natural abilities decrease. If six orbs are removed, Omega will begin to rot and look akin to a zombie and hardly function like more than one. Obviously if you remove eight, he dies.
”Wait for It…”: The Omega Halo is not the most efficient weapon ever. It’s Metallon Kineticism ability is quite obvious when it’s about to be used. An opponent with the observational skills of a snail can usually figure out “When the thing is glowing he is using the metal power, if I hit him hard enough or run before he uses it then I’m fine.” What that snail didn’t realize is that it doesn’t run fast.
Not Exactly Godhood: As much as he says it, Omega is not a god… and he doesn’t know it. He knows he clearly has limits, however he always believes that somehow he can outwit, outduel, out-strategize, etc. his opponent. He’s so cocky that he may very well walk into what he knows is a trap thinking that he’ll somehow be able to beat it.
Thieves OP: The Omega Halo is not a weapon that exclusively responds to Omega. The weapon is powered by the king's assurance in his divinity. It functions off of the pride of an individual. It's sort of a reverse case of Thor's hammer, "This weapon will respond to whoever thinks they are worthy of the power of Omega." Thus, it's not unreasonable to think certain opponents would use this power to remove large portions of Omega's body.

Story (Click to Show)
Omega very early on in his life was the leader of what was essentially a terrorist organisation on his home planet. He exhibited unusually high physical prowess, and was a marvel to many people when they watched him take on dozens of opponents at once. He was also quite the enigmatic individual, as no other member of his species ever had tentacles like he had. With his unique advantage, he raised what was originally a small group of thugs into a powerful force that eventually toppled the original emperor, Garland.
After his prestigious victory and the public execution of the former king, Omega declared himself a god and had the Omega Halo made in his glory. From there he would forge what would be come to known as the largest galactic empire in the galaxy. His efforts have also made his kingdom known for it’s grand elitism, but also for the easy life most of it’s citizen’s live.
On one fateful day, Omega’s elite fleet crossed a being of immense power. After it threatened Omega’s like, the king ordered that “this thing becomes nothing but more debris floating through space.” As they fired their cannons, Omega’s ship took a blow and exploded entirely. Omega survived via an overly convenient escape pod, while the rest of his fleet was destroyed. It was then that the usurper found himself on Earth.
Fast forward a year later, and Omega has built a church unto his name. He talked about a second coming where he would enact a plan that would bring paradise to the world. After his leave, he had to reestablish his reign after turmoil had been allowed to settle in due to his elongated leave. After which, he gathered a fleet and headed back to Earth, this time with the intent to conquer instead of flee.

Sundry Garbage (Click to Show)
This is where I put extra shit that doesn't normally go on a character sheet. So, have fun.
Psi: A failed attempt of Omega's when he tried to make a clone of himself. He has 7 tentacles, 7 hearts, 1 eye, and is generally slightly inferior to Omega in every way. His weapon is a trident that can change in length. He's technically the heir to the throne, but given Omega's apparent immortality, it's a void promise. He tends to be a more aggressive individual than Omega. More surprising, it doesn't take a long amount of time to realize that he is even more racist and greedy than his king. Truly, it might be a blessing that Omega is the one in control.
Alephaeus: I named him before the appearance of a certain forum member, mind you. Anyways, Alephaeus is the High Priest of Omega's church. He often acts as an advisor to his god. He is also known for his ability to control people's actions with his voice, which Omega appears to be immune to. Alephaeus has a measly 3 hearts, but still appears to be immortal. Alephaeus is quite obviously pathetic in physical confrontations. Where Omega and Psi clearly have powerful artifacts (the halo and trident, respectively), Alephaeus appears to be without one.
Paragon: Someone Omega refers to occasionally as some sort of high-power being. His favorite description of him being "He only looks human"
Abra, the Virtuoso of Aces & Eights: In progress
Penny Whitechapel: Respectable. He thinks that of all the humans he's met, he likes her the most. She's still a human though, and therefore detestable. Something happened to her...
Zalgo: Beyond Omega's incredible racism, he sees Zalgo as an incredibly annoying stumbling block. Zalgo himself has an impressive empire backing him and also converts species to his side. The similarities between the two are innumerable and uncanny. Omega remembers encountering him on Earth, but can't seem to remember what happened.
Verde: A coward. Deceased.
Dracustos: A paladin who got way ahead of themselves. Deceased
Catena: Another hero, nothing special. Something happened to her...
All encounters past these don't affect my continuity in any way, if I ever bother to have a story for my creation.
The Forge: Omega's species cannot reproduce. Instead, they have machines called Forges that can, through a long and agonizing process, will change someone into the metal beings that inhabit Omega's empire. It will give them the appropriate number of hearts for the beings physical capability (most humans can handle one or two), a decidedly more metallic body, and a healing factor.
Language: Omega's species has no racial language. In fact, 100% of Omega's species speaks English in a midwestern accent. Some regions of the empire have developed their own accents, but as a general rule, strangely reminiscent of a non-southern American. It's a curious phenomenon to say the least.
