Once he was within his range, Mano immediately turned to Anubis, his eyes void of emotion, of humanity, of mercy. Seeming without a care, he flicks his wrist, Anubis' form losing its movement, but remaining conscious, the strange force keeping him in place despite his lack of corporeal form. Mano's eyes suddenly turned to the battle below.
"Noise," he said to himself softly, slowly walking towards the groups. "Shut. Up. The noise."

Leo moved out of the way of the hound just by the skin of his teeth. He noticed the other two hounds coming after him, causing him to be separated from the rest of the group. "Son of a bitch..." he muttered. Luckily, the effects of Elyss's song enhanced his speed and strength. He wanted to see what was going on with Carnifex, but he knew he had to focus on the enemies in front of him. So, he fired off three more shots, one for each hound. The moment the last shot was fired, he followed up with a slash to the face.

One of the hounds took a shot to the eye and whimpered, then growled. The slash to its face was probably the worst thing Leo could have done, because the hound jumped away and bit down hard on his wrist. The other two hounds lunged at him, looking to tackle him to the ground. After the kick, the wind's brute force would cause Orwell to stumble slightly. Just before they began their attack again, Eta simply turned to the side, allowing the bullets to hit his shoulders rather than his hands and face. Mercy's harpoon went into the armor, but only slightly.
For a few moments, Anubis was motionless. The sheer power of Mano's attack was absolutely unimaginable; clearly Anubis had underestimated his potential, even able to do such things to him in his ethereal form. But there was just one thing Mano had not accounted for: Carnifex.
Resting above and watching his grunts do the work, Carnifex noticed the change in Anubis. Growling, a mental link went into the Fraysan beast. If there was one thing able to break Mano's power, it was the influence of one Fraysan to another, and the sheer and utter fear that Anubis felt toward his leader. Jumping, he moved away from Mano's field of range and shook off the sluggishness he felt. He turned, returning to his physical form only for a moment. Carnifex, meanwhile, lifted his hand. Suddenly, the puddles of oil lifted back up in the air. Manipulating them for his own use, he dropped the oil on Eta, Anubis and his hounds for yet another power boost, then proceeded to send a tidal wave into Mercy and Leo

Elyss noticed Carnifex's movements and quickly twirled her blades, her marvelous song ceased as she burst towards the frontlines, the oil on the ground kicked up as her feet carried her to her destination. "Brace yourselves!" She shrieked.
How can I forget that stillness

The oil and everything else she was not locked onto were thrown outward from her voice. The fraysans, the oil, debris and unfortunately Obelisk were thrown. The porcelian fraysan lowered her stance as she readied her next verse, she breathed in and allowed the air to flow through her as she moved. When she stood straight she uttered another verse, she raised her hand and her blade folded back as she clawed at the sky.

The scattered oil in the air slowed until they ran back like children to their mother's sweet call. Elyss' voice called to them and they answered, the black sludge moved around her like a spiral until they covered her in a thin film. She shot her hand to Nikolai next, the only person she knew who could handle its power. She needn't ask if he wanted it, for they all knew they needed power at this moment. Siege locks slammed into the ground, securing the Obelisk into the ground to withstand against the wind from Eta's kick, then from the sudden shove that came from Elyss' music. The minigun kept its rain of bullets constant but changed targets, no longer focusing on Eta but rather on Anubis. The high-caliber rifle thundered as it blasted shell after shell at the Fraysan. Edward was relying that he could get in a shot or two as the change of target would be unexpected as well as the sudden interference by Elyss.

He unsheathed his sword lance and held it in one hand as he held the firearm in the other and went to help Leo. As they were shoved back by Elyss' music, he shot at one hound, pressing the barrels into its body before pulling the trigger, slamming it down as to fire both shells into the beast. He lunged with his sword lance, aiming to pierce the other Fraysan hound.

Leo cried out as the hound bit down on his arm. "Shit!" He tried to take his arm away, but the other hounds tackled him to the ground and he cried out again. He tried to fight them off, but that obviously wasn't working. Thankfully, Sebastian came over and helped him, killing the hounds. Leo stood up, his arm bleeding profusely. The wounds were deep, but thanks to his armored skin, they weren't too deep.
He looked over at Sebastian. "I totally had that under control, but thank you." He let off shot after shot, trying to hit the last Fraysan hound. Thankfully, he had unlimited lasers because of the energy source inside the chamber.

Mano felt the disruption of his "trick," and it was enough to catch his attention from his friends. He looked on towards Anubis, knowing that this time, he'd silence the threat once and for all.

Mercy kept climbing the giant, at this point being somewhere by his knee. Using her drill-ended arm like a mountaineer's axe, or even a grappling hook at times, and her overall physical fitness made it possible for her to progress in a good, steady pace. Anywhere the girl made contact with the armor, a small black stain appeared, spreading the faster, the bigger it got. She hasn't even noticed Carnifex's maneuvers, until he dumped even more oil on Eta. Mercy was low enough to not get hit by the majority of it, liquid stopping and splashing on the humongous silhouette but some still flushed over her, obviously.
As she stopped for a moment to check on the battlefield, she noticed yet another wave of oil, approaching her position. "Oh bollocks..." It was too late to go back down, the girl had to simply brace herself and hope for the best. Fortunately for her, 'the best' actually happened; in form of Elyss' song that repelled the wave, saving Mercy's skin once more...For the time being. "Welp...'s just you 'n me, pal." She faced back up, smiling, drilling her arm in the porcelain-like armor, above her head.

Mercy knew that at one point or another, she'll certainly get noticed, being ready to dodge any possible attack using her grappling hook, or the parts of giant's limb, that were corrupted already, being her able-to-transform safe ground.

Eta grimaced, then looked down at the threat like an ant on a shoe, "How adorable," He spat, reaching over and trying to grab Mercy in his fist. The blowback from Elyss' attack hadn't effected the giant at all, but it did to Anubis and his hounds. The hounds, who were now vulnerable, went down quickly to Sebastian's attacks; except for one, who proceeded to jump on him as they had Leo. Anubis was shoved through the air, falling much further away from Mano. As the rockets began to move toward him, he quickly became ethereal once more, the bullets phasing through him and exploding at the ground. Anubis rushed forward toward The Obelisk, becoming physical for only a moment to punch the machine in whatever looked close to a face.
Only Elyss and Nikolai could feel the smirk on Carnifex's face, Aren't you cute he cooed, You've come so far, Dearest Elyss. But you can come much further with the Fraysan army.
Then, there was the sound of an explosion, followed by a roar of utter agony. Eta, if he had grabbed Mercy, would throw her away as he grabbed at his smoking face, oil splashing down from what was one of his eyes. Nikolai Jr. had been waiting for the right time to set up the shot, and reaching over to grab Mercy was the perfect moment that his face was defenseless. He smirked.

Seeing Anubis move elsewhere, Mano's attentions were directed towards the other being in the sky: Carnifex. Slowly but steadily his path turned towards the powerful Fraysan, his heart and mind void of all emotion but a strange swirling hatred.

Yogi had have enough of this mess. Blood was splashing everywhere, more that he had to clean. Normally he wouldn't mean, but this was FRAYSAN blood.
He began to move toward the biggest one (Eta), tossing Fraysans out of the way like he tossed trash bags into da trash cans.

The mech rocked back, still grounded in place. The siege latches protected the mech from any form of heavy recoil, but it took a while to disengage them so for now Orwell couldn't make any distance between him and Anubis. The seat Edward was in bounced and shuddered, absorbing the shock as to protect the small boy and Orwell did what he could, trying to punch and push back the creature as the siege latches disengaged.

"It talks!" Mercy shout out, seeing the giant bending over to get her, before...she let go, and fell down. Drill still stuck where it was however, a long chain connecting it to her arm. The girl swung herself like on a piece of rope, around the monster's leg, trying to evade the hit, eventually to land on the back of his calf. Smashing her shoulder painfully against the hard metal of corrupted armor, she recovered quickly and retracted her 'hook'. Then the whole creature shook, letting out a roar of pain.
It wasn't her fault, even if almost whole Eta's leg was mechanized at this point. From behind however, Mercy wasn't able to see what exactly happened, except for the smoke coming out of Giant's face. Someone kept the distraction going...
Using yet another chance given to her, she quickly climbed up to monster's pelvis, handy grips emerging from the metal parts. After the girl reached the waist, she had to come back to her previous, slower method, as the corruption hasn't reached any higher yet. Speaking of which, it very slowly began to take over Eta's second leg

Carnifex flew high into the air before raising his hand to point at Eta. The large behemoth only looked on at his lord, his commander and friend. He stared at the hovering apex before screaming in terrible pain. Oil rained from his face, the liquid bubbling. Eta's innards were being cooked as his oily fraysan blood began to boil. His body started to grow bulbous sacs all over as his already enormous size grew.
Anubis hurled himself at Sebastian, his arms wrapping under the veteran's armpits before becoming physical.
"Are you ready Fraysan slayer? I am." Anubis whispered in his ear.
Eta screamed louder as he began to collapse under his own weight, his body bloating and boiling.

"Danger! Danger!" Orwell's sensors detected the massively building heat emitting from Eta. "The behemoth is being primed to explode! Retreat! All units must retreat!" By now the siege steps had been released and the Obelisk turned around and began making its way as far away from Eta as it could. Orwell had an objective and that was to protect Edward at all cost.
