"Master Sebastian was Master Nikolai jr's compatriot, though I suspect something more than just that from their interactions and Master Nikolai's emotional reaction to his death. He was killed by the creature that attacked us in the space we woke up in. The creature grabbed him by the leg, drew him close, then disintegrated him." Orwell pointed to the being on the left of the poster. "It looked similarly to this one."

Mano looks at it. "Wow, that thing looks crazy. Is it even a Fraysan?"

"Actually perhaps it looked more like the one on the right..." Orwell speculated. "Oh and no idea. They can perhaps be related, but these beings go by the name Izardles, not Fraysans."

"So..." Mano scratches his head. "This may be going off topic a bit, but if these things aren't Fraysans, then why did Carnifex send us here?"

Elyss crossed her arms at Mano's question.

"Perhaps the location did not matter," she said. "It may have simply been to spite us out of our world as his last act. Or perhaps he knew this world was dangerous and sent us here to die. It may have nothing to do with Fraysans at all."

She shrugged.

As Edward pulled Isabelle away, Nikolai eventually decided to follow, listening to Edward make an attempt at public speaking. It was kind of adorable, even in the eyes of a ruthless bounty hunter. The information, however, was very useful, "Yes, that's our final objective," he added, "Considering we don't really have any other place to go, right?"

At the thoughtless mention of Sebastian, Nikolai winced. He didn't look at Mano, but his expression became much more tense. Orwell was most certainly right in his assumption, but bringing it up right now would just make things more complicated.

The woman was dragged away by a child, which wasn't necessarily her intention but she wasn't about to be rude to the boy. Edward spoke about things that Isabelle really didn't know anything about. Judging by the conversation, she couldn't help feeling as if the world around her was in a state of decline. Perhaps the old Isabelle would care about such a decline, but the current state of the woman sought only power. Life was meaningless if it lacked the capacity to defend itself. If her friends were truly of this world, she would certainly find out soon enough.

She looked at Nikolai, and then at the creature on the right side.

"No, we do not." Orwell looked at the map. "However before we set out, I do believe we should take advantage of this haven to rest and rejuvenate ourselves. Sleep on an actual bed as I doubt you will get to in the foreseeable future." He chuckled and shut off. Edward picked up the small robot and jogged past the group, returning back to the Obelisk. He climbed up the mech and dropped down into the porthole. The small boy was gone for a short moment then he popped his head back up and climbed out, no longer holding the small Orwell. Running over to the room that Orwell theorized was the mess hall, he grabbed the handles then pulled.

One of the random books on the shelves fell off and opened to a random page as Edward ran by. However he continued to the mess hall door, which slowly creaked open before he could touch it.

The small boy paused before looking to sneak a peek but was quickly dragged away by Orwell, who drew him away to safety. Edward looked on the ground and seeing the book, he picked it up to see what was in it while Orwell trekked forward to investigate the mess hall.

Edward noticed the word "Fraysa" on the page before Orwell moved to the mess hall, but when the mech tried to step inside the room some kind of invisible barrier stopped it from moving forward.

Orwell touched the barrier. "How peculiar... Master Edward if you can come this way please?"

"One moment Orwell I just found a book that can answer some of those questions we were having about this planet's origin." Edward sat down and began to read the book. The mech sighed and simply peered into the room to see if he could see anything that could explain the barrier's existence.

"Can someone join me here please?" He called out to the research center. "There seems to be a barrier of sorts surrounding the mess hall."

"A barrier?" Edward looked up then looked over to the room to see if anyone else was going to come out, because if no one else wanted to investigate he guess he would see what is was all about.

"Oh, wait!" Mano says, reaching into his pack, fumbling around. "I've still got two more bracers, and then I've got the super important gift to bring out." He pulls out the bracer first. "Hey, Izzy, Horace. Do you want them? They'll let you stay in contact with everyone."

Horace looked at everyone and saw the barrier block their path and noticed the book fly off."Hm interesting looks to be some kind of blockage in our path". Horace walked towards it and began to examine it."So Edward what are you finding out about this area".

Nikolai Jr. followed Edward and Orwell out, watching Orwell's attempt at phasing through the invisible barrier. Furrowing his brow, he gingerly moved forward, pressing against the invisible barrier. He shrugged, "Maybe I'll go through it. Weird Half-Fraysan thing? I dunno, it's worth a shot."
