Unceremonious first post.

Favorite Heroes: Lucio, Ana, Junkrat.
Least favorite Heroes: Hanzo, Tracer, Symmetra.
Favorite map: Hanamura
Least favorite map: Volshkaya

I've been playing a ton of Ana since her release, but Lucio is still my number one on any king of the hill maps. Junkrat can be a really solid choice in certain situations, but he's not really popular right now. Basically, I main support. Any map I wouldn't pick Lucio on is covered by Ana and vise versa.

I hear Blizzard tried some shit to fix Hanzo's arrows, but I can't tell. He still lobs telephone poles, with shots that will have you questioning if there is any god at all. Even when the Hanzo player is very unskilled, it's not strange to die to an almost entirely unaimed scattershot. This guy is an unskilled noob magnet.
Tracer is fine in terms of game balance too, but she's designed to be annoying. Long story short, deliberately annoying is still annoying.
Symmetra, especially on attack or king of the hill, really grinds my gears hard. Because most people are terrible as her.

I play on PC, right now the meta is fun but the community is a little bit garbage. Looking for some respite from the simpering imbeciles I turn to this forum and ask "Do you play Overwatch?"

The best part isn't even that you quadra killed, it's that the objective is now totally empty.

This is one of my threads, you may complain about the game if that's what you desire.
Just as long as it's on topic and thought out.

Those are some dank memes for sure.

A good Mccree is a nightmare right now, his midrange left click is a serious issue for most heroes.
That's what separates you're run of the mill Mccree from the one's that are a pain though. Can they left click accurately?

Here's some realistic gameplay footage of Ana, not just hand picking my best moments. So anyone interested in her can see what she's good at and what can cause her problems.
Only 10 hours played as her at the time of the footage so be nice.

I'm still learning her rhythms, as you can tell I still get a little mixed up on what order to do her combo in after I land a sleep dart in a duel. But my hip fire seems to be getting between 50-65% accuracy most games now, which is pretty decent. I'd like it to be at least 75% but it's gonna take some time.

I think the reason I resonate more with Ana than Widowmaker or Hanzo is because of how comfortable I am shooting with her. Hanzo's arrows don't have a believable wind up or hit box, so I don't feel satisfied when playing him. I can't get used to Widowmakers charging mechanic either.

I also should get a lot better with Ana's sleeper dart, because that shit can not only save the game but full on change the tides of any battle.

McCree's Ultimate: Is the enemy team out in the open.
Reaper's Ultimate: Is the enemy team paying attention.
Really just a matter of watching out for and anticipating these ultimates.

But Genji, wish I could think of any legitimate counter play to his ultimate beside "Kill him before he insta-kills you."
Except when I get hella lucky and land a sleeper dart on him. But it should be worth noting that it's significantly harder to hit Genji in dragon nigger mode than pretty much anyone else in the game. Barring Tracer.

I'm fairly positive Genji does not move quicker using dragonblade. The trick is kills refresh the cooldown on his shift attack so he can engage and disengage pretty quickly. Genji's ult is just as easy to counter as Mccree's and Reaper's. It also helps that he says some crazy china-talk letting everyone know what's coming. Furthermore, it has like a two second charge up when you first use it and at the end, which makes it so he can't deflect or shift, so you can kill him before and after relatively easily. It takes at least two slashes with the sword to kill any 200hp person that is around full health because each one does around 100 damage. It's just a buffed version of reinhardt's hammer swing, to be perfectly honest.

Genji V Reaper is intense because you can deflect his ultimate back at him. I'm pretty sure the way the math adds up is deflect doesn't last as long as his ult, so you're supposed to hit him with your left click before deflecting since you won't deflect enough damage to kill him when you start. If he's around half health then reaper is going to kill himself. It's almost the same against pharah, except she will kill herself almost instantly.

See you say that.

But what usually happens is he hits Q, everyone starts looking for him. And then he mashes left click and space bar all over your team before they can kill him.
Genji's ultimate almost always gives his team value in a game. Except for bad Genji's, which do exist.

Mccree and reaper are pretty vulnerable in their ultimates, Genji isn't made vulnerable at all, but just as deadly.

Hell yeah, Genji's reflect game is really intense even though the hitbox on it is huge. He's a fairly skill reliant character, except for perhaps his slashy dash. I'm not really sure what to pick into Genji at all anymore, I'm not sure there is a definitive pick. It's mostly dependent on the composition.

Like I see a genji, I wont automatically go winston because I know dragon blade will still wreck me. But Genji + Tracer + Rienhardt yeah I'll probably take winston because his lightning gun fucks with them.

Winston, Mccree, and soldier 76 have 0 problems with Genji. Winston can chase him and kill him at his own leisure, Soldier 76 just has to wait out his deflect, drop heal as soon as deflect is popped, and helix rocket, and Mccree just has to land one left click, flash bang the ground (so it doesnt get deflected), and headshot him when he's stunned. Genji's hardly deflect when using dragonblade, so it's even easier to stun him. The reason you probably dislike him so much is because he is designed to flank and kill the important people, hence me always talking shit because I stay killing the enemy teams healers. You play healers. Genji's kill healers. Genji kills you. If you sit next to a reinhardt, there isn't shit Genji can do to you.

I play soldier I guess, but I might suck with his weapon spread fix. I feel like soldier can potentially wreck anyone though. Like, if you're good at tracking aim and then suddenly jerk shotting his helix. In general he's totally devastating with good accuracy.
His ultimate is just the icing on the cake really.

I don't play mccree, blizzard cannot get that character right.

Good ol' Genji, Use him right for the right people and you may accomplish your goal.
