Dante is still undergoing some profile edits (just got off the clan war- trying to match the abilities and such to what was shown in Azure's thing, working out a more quality demo.) Should be done by August 4th or 5th- PM me or post here if you've got questions.

My main question/concern is how long would we have to make this? I know I'm a slower writer and as the numbers involved keeps increasing, if the deadline doesn't, I may not be a good option for this.

Participants will cap at eight so no worries there. When do you guys want the deadline to be? I'd be fine with any date.

AAARGH! I'll be gone for half of August for swimming lessons out of town. As long as the deadline isn't anywhere within August 14 - 29, I'm good.

By the way, I agree with treating this event like a spar.

Well seeing as tomorrow's pretty much August...
Not really, no. Pfhahaha~

I would say October. Early October if people are looking to rush this out. We are dealing with 8 people here, a couple with other commitments. I'm fine with turning up the heat, but no need to burn everyone up straight away.

If you want to make it even more convenient, ask XDDDDDDDDDDDHunter put all the wRHG's in the main post in their own header.

October might be pushing it in my book. That puts anyone storyline heavy with free time locked down for 2 months, or more from what you're implying. I'd be fine with one month, and I consider myself slow

I consider myself a speed demon, so I wouldn't mind one month, but a little longer that would probably be perfect, like. A month and half.

Noted. Doing it right now.

Also, about the deadline. How about like August 21?

I was thinking more around August 30th. Give us a decently sufficient amount of time Hunter. Plz?

August 30 it is then if everyone agrees. I'm not the final say on these things. At least, I don't want to be. I want every detail to be agreed upon by at least the majority of the participants. After all, this is not only my battle, but yours as well.

Honestly, if we're making it August 30th, may as well tac on that extra day and make it the end of the month.

While I do get the concept of not wanting to burn anyone up, there's also the concept of momentum. We're ampt about this now, we shouldn't need a telescope to see the end. Putting things off too deep into the eventuality relam is like plopping them into an abyss.

Give a really intense deadline, like August 12th. Then when only two people have finished, pull a fast one an be like "HAHA, BUT IT WAS ALL A ROUGE TO MAKE YOU WORK HARDER. Actual deadline is asdfghjkl;"

But then again, I just ruined that option.

The Gentleman is still keen on participating. Now a word from the Prince Incorporated spokesman:

"We do like the date being the 31st of August. As our friend Crank mentioned, make it the actual last day. It would seem that we will need to send our submissions to Hunter by this date. Anyone else coming late will need to produce theirs by the time the polls close, otherwise an automatic forfeit will be given. On the topic of polling time, due to the vast amount of people and that certain people may be overwhelmed with reading all the stories, a larger time limit should be placed on the polls. We would like to propose that one month for the entry and one month for the poll. In this way, some mildly active users may also have a chance to vote.

Mr Prince has informed us that as much as he would like there to be a winner with actual points, a spar seems like a better option. This competition would be more for bragging rights and a opportunity for some of the brightest in their respective fields to showcase their skills. If this is successful, there could be many like it. A quarterly Battle Royal if you will.

There is but one issue the Board members have raised, and that would be the restriction of the environment the fight takes place. Of course it is doable, but it does constrain freedom of those few participants who rely on more than their abilities, but also cunning of environment. Thus the desert does not constitute an acceptable amount of cover or diversity of tactics. However, this is merely an opinion of a small group of the Board, while the others would believe that regardless it will be a challenge to revel in.

If there are any further discussions or enquiries, make sure to contact reception and ask for Hilda. She is the woman in charge of Mr Prince's Gladiator hobby. Godspeed."
