The Gentleman is still keen on participating. Now a word from the Prince Incorporated spokesman:
"We do like the date being the 31st of August. As our friend Crank mentioned, make it the actual last day. It would seem that we will need to send our submissions to Hunter by this date. Anyone else coming late will need to produce theirs by the time the polls close, otherwise an automatic forfeit will be given. On the topic of polling time, due to the vast amount of people and that certain people may be overwhelmed with reading all the stories, a larger time limit should be placed on the polls. We would like to propose that one month for the entry and one month for the poll. In this way, some mildly active users may also have a chance to vote.
Mr Prince has informed us that as much as he would like there to be a winner with actual points, a spar seems like a better option. This competition would be more for bragging rights and a opportunity for some of the brightest in their respective fields to showcase their skills. If this is successful, there could be many like it. A quarterly Battle Royal if you will.
There is but one issue the Board members have raised, and that would be the restriction of the environment the fight takes place. Of course it is doable, but it does constrain freedom of those few participants who rely on more than their abilities, but also cunning of environment. Thus the desert does not constitute an acceptable amount of cover or diversity of tactics. However, this is merely an opinion of a small group of the Board, while the others would believe that regardless it will be a challenge to revel in.
If there are any further discussions or enquiries, make sure to contact reception and ask for Hilda. She is the woman in charge of Mr Prince's Gladiator hobby. Godspeed."
