This is what I actually submitted. First round only gain just like lifesteal.
Slow death
Whenever Skeleton would take damage Skeleton takes 40% of the damage as normal and postpones 50% to the following turn, dropping the other 10%. This effect can (re)trigger itself and the source of the damage will be remembered as the origional source and not this effect, ie the attacking player.
All the 100% incoming damage is considered to have hit immediately for the purposes of any other effects and the slow taking of damage the following turns is not considered to happen for the purposes of other effects, ie lifestealing 20% on Skeleton with a 100 attack heals for 20 immediately and does not heal on 20% of 40* damage and the later turns as Skeleton actually takes the damage over time.
Mostly for Devour's ease if any postponed damage would be less than 1 reduce it to 0
I'd really wish Devour didn't keep rewriting my abilities to shorten them, I worry he'll accidentally miss some detail that might be relevant later. On that note Devour I think you missed part of the debuff in my first obtained effect that I can't attack players unless they attacked me the prior round (and will only attack those).
*seems I typod my own submission lol, this was 35, I corrected it to 40
