That would be fine, yeah! Just let Steam's battles be Steam's battles, and your new character's battles be the new character's battles. Having more characters besides your main gladiator, and advancing the story through and around your battles is what we're all about here! :o

Okay I'm just going to say it. The way you gave Pupas a profile makes him an active gladiator character which you're only allowed to have one of (I'm not entirely sure why but its the rules and I thought i'd explain them). My suggestion is if you want to have him as an NPC, put his entire profile in a massive spoiler tag marked either NPC or his name and be sure to explain his relevance to Steam etc. Technically speaking, he won't be fighting in battles without your opponent's permission. Altaer is a pretty good example.

If you do want to replace your character, let Azure or a moderator know and this thread will be locked instead of your new one.

I feel like all i've been doing is explaining rules and what needs to change. Honestly I hope you have fun and I wish you luck with upcoming fights.

S: Actually, it isn't required to lock this thread. You can just change the name and put Steam in a spoiler saying "previous Gladiator #1" like Azure and we did.

nah I haven't even battled with Steam once I can keep Pupas in the NPC's until i am ready to retire Steam.

What do we do if we have a story attached to our fighter? Is there like a space to put it or something?

Other than history, you can start story threads in the writer's lounge just below the four sub-forums.

As for recommendations, there are many new people and three I think are roughly near your skill level. (Some are closer than others.) Ficlles, Jirocho1, and 69DoomsDruid69 all seem like fair candidates. Just remember to challenge one at a time and wait for their answers.

Of course you can face pretty much anyone you want provided they accept.

That will be a while though. If you want to face someone now, you can always challenge someone else. Just check their gladiator profile for availability and send them a private message. (do you know how to do that?)
