Once when I had an ICT class and we were told to motion tween a shape changing colours in Serif Draw Plus. I said "**** that!" and I started animating a stick figure creating a wand with special effects and turning a stick figure into a bunny. When they all saw it they said "Wow, that so freaking awesome!" "How did you make it!!!!!!!!?" One guy said "You should be opting for graphical design man. "Your good at this" "I can't even make a shape move smoothly"

Well, graphics design. Okay that was stupid. Obviously I'm not experienced enough to do that. Even the teacher was amazed.

HS teachers and technology rarely mix well.

my english teacher can rarely get her cd player working.

I am literally the best animator in my entire school, including the teachers.

my mate didnt believe i made anims either. i showed him me making one in school, and he was like

"dude your gay, do something else" because he was jealous. he then said what was i doing on here, and i said "making a thread", and he said "whats a thread." i loled and told him to stfu.

later that night he called me and asked for the program, and now he calls me like every night for an hour asking me how to do stuff, and when i tell him he'll be like "OK im just moving the arm, now im clicking save etc etc" and he doesnt really need to stay on just so he can tell me he's doing what i told him to do. Glad i got that off my chest.

Noone cared if i animated back when i was in school.

I've never really had that experience. Not alot of people know I animate/animated as I never really told anybody or made it obvious.

When I used to animate with pivot, I had a link to one of my animations in my ICQ status and some random guy I'd never talked to before told me he wouldn't believe I made that because one "couldn't get it that smooth". Eventually he also wouldn't believe me that the SP forums were going to get nuked and left all like "ULL C WAT GETS SHUT DOWN".
