Marianna Laranis, the Dancing Horseman | First Floor
Hunter sniffed as the mug came to his reach. "After you sent me out, I didn't look back. I saw Filian and the crew; nothing odd about them at that time so I paid them no attention. Only when the legionnaires started to pour in did I see something had gone awry. They surrounded the inn, Thaa'nas at several points. Even if I had gotten the guys, we wouldn't stand a chance." The lieutenant drank some of the ale and set the mug down gently. "I met up with Takeo and the girl, told me of Filian's betrayal. I tried to search for other trustworthy guys but I can't really for sure right now."
Hunter stopped for a moment as a man passed them by, carrying with him a tray of drinks with a single hand. He looked at the purple haired man, suspiciously before finally speaking again.
"Guys a show off. Anyway, things are bleak here, Mari, it seems we'll lose this territory very soon." Hunter looked to Mari, curious. "How are things on your side?"
Thalia Valgeiros, the Plaza of the Monolith | Rooftops
Climbing onto the rooftops was nothing new to her, it was as if her body simply knew where to place her limbs and before she knew it, she was atop the building. The cool moonlit night bathed the town in a pale light. The retired assassin leapt onto another rooftop, as her eyes tagged the suspicious siloughette as the target. She could tell it was watching the scene unfold in the alley, its inky form outlined by the lunar light. With that, she raced towards it, hoping to reach it before it leaves while another hopes its just one of the voices in her head.
Yes, silence it. Silence it, Thalia! The voice screeched.
As she came closer, the shadow's features grew more prominent, more human like. The shadow seemed to wear a mask over his mouth, covering half his face. Thalia knew from there, there was something more to Salvation Point. He raised a weapon, what looked to be a crossbow, and waited. Taking a peek below, she could see Faye was returning to the inn with an escort of two legionnaires and someone on Atlas' arm.
Faye was wide open, Thalia realized.
Faye Petralis, the Plaza of the Monolith | Alleyway
"My name's Trivana," the legionnaire replied as Faye finished commanding Atlas. Trivana positioned herself at the end of Ravhin's feet. "All right, one the count of three. One.."
The legionnaire and the Thaa'nas heaved Ravhin onto Atlas' arm without fault. Trivana nodded slowly, a bit of protest gone as the legionnaire looked over to the other behind her who simply nodded at Faye's suggestion to bring Ravhin to the inn. "If you are sure, Thaa'nas, then all right."
"Trivana, Reevus go to the inn and ask for some hands to guard the remaining body then leave for cleanup; notify the Lord Commander as well," Another legionnaire barked, whom Faye assumed was the squad leader. "We'll search the perimeter."
The soldiers saluted. The squad leader and the other legionnaire began to move, scouting the area while Trivana and Reevus accompanied Faye to the inn.
Lavernius Mylarc, the Dancing Horseman | Second Floor
As he claimed the alcohol from the bar, Lavernius had passed by the woman whom Erenzo had brought and the man she was with. He didn't recognize the man, however, though it was possible that it was simply Erenzo's messenger. It didn't matter to him in the slightest anyway.
Going up to his room, the artist awaited the two women. He stood by the balcony to get some fresh air. It didn't take long for Faye to come around with Atlas and two legionnaires alongside her, the golem's footsteps were more than an indication. It would have been fine though if he hadn't noticed the huge stains of blood all over Faye's clothes.
