The program is a standalone, and will load as soon as you start it.

Guys, you need something to make the graphics AND a programming language. You can make .gif sprites in pivot but, you need something to code it. Perhaps you might want to get the Java dev kit if you don't have Flash.

Also, can someone sticky this, please? It will help.

It was stickied for a few years but we had so many sticky threads here that no one noticed any of them. You had to scroll down to see any non-sticky threads. In theory the Have Questions? thread is supposed to fix that by linking to all the good threads, but some people don't read no matter what you do.
