It looks like his spine disappears lol

It wasn't a copy paste but I did base it off of that punch... but it was from scratch

Nice... I guess? It isn't really a good habit to punch downwards when the people are the same height and the man getting hit is standing. So its like punching the guy in the stomach if you think about it.

nice. looked fairly smooth. the board looked decent at all angles. However, you shouldn't speed up going uphill. Other than that I have no complaints. keep up the good work

it's good
but when he's driving up at the beginning it's not very realistic
but otherwise...

the skate test is a little wobbly and the speed changes a bit, but its definitely not bad. The jump is ok, but the landing could use some work. When you make his knees go in opposite directions like that, it makes him look like a pogo stick, imo :D ik, bad comparison, but i hope you see what im saying

The first animation has some resizing.
A technique to help reduce your resizing besides animating more would be to make the size stick you're comfortable with in a guide layer and make the figure into a movie clip so that you can move him around and compare to see if you're resizing or not when it doesn't look right.
I also suggest to watch out on how long you draw the abdomen, this is where allot of resizing will appear. To prevent this, I suggest drawing the feet first, then connecting the legs to the center where the abdomen sprouts up.
Your jump test even lacked easing and anticipation.
Sooo...You need to study anticipation, gravity and easing as far as realistic feelings to the jump.
Anticipation, the backwards movement before the action(not a great definition but it works).
Gravity, it holds us all down don't it? Kinda pulls us down too..
...and we can link that to...
Easing, the slowing down and speeding up of movements(such as limbs or a ball bouncing, it's used in allot of things. You need to work on this allot!)

Too lazy to make a thread for this, I refuse to finish it until Vandetta gets a good signature idea.
[swf=http://www.truploader.com/uploads/084537tweened.swf]height=150 width=300[/swf]
56 frames of animation.
40 fps.
time taken...about 15 minutes.

Its extremely smooth but its a weird kick... Why would you do 40 fps?
Jan 25, 2010 12:28 AM #540368
What ?
Jan 25, 2010 1:22 AM #540377
lol Yea I guess it'll be a while then?

It's tweened motion. Besides that, yes I now see that kick is gay.
