Quote from tazdingomanI liked the moves a lot Strider. Nice.
Quote from daneximuzStrider: After the second move, one of the feet kinda "slipped" and it looks weird. But nice test.
Mdogg312: You should try some easing on that test. Don't make the legs spawn at a certain speed, use the onion skin and make the legs (and everything else) appear from one frame to the other, but then make em slow in the end.
Kinda like this: (each line is a frame)
-.-..-....-....-....-...-..-.-
Each line also represents the difference between each frame and the last.
Hope I explained myself all right.

Strider, try to make more frames. It needs more easing and it's stiff. Do simple movements before doing the more intricate movements, first you need to grasp the basics of movements, then you can do the rest. Make some arms move, do a step. Make a stick kicking, or headbutting. Then try something harder: running, falling. And if you get that, try difficult movements: Front flips, back flips, rolling, double kicks.
There are lots of kinds of easing, you just gotta find out yourself:
You have heavy spacing. -.-..-....-....................-...-..-.
Normal spacing ( Kind of dull ) -.-..-.....-........-....-..-.
It's all about finding your own style.
Your sticks wobble, try to turn on Onion Skin. If not, turn it on. If it is, make it look two frames back. And if your onion skin is hard to see against the background, make the background another colour.
Your stick is stiff too, make it's limbs bend more.
The sound quality is quite bad, I reccomend this tut:

At last, you could make the head a symbol so you don't have to draw it every frame.
And remember to always stay true to your own style, even though that sounds cheesy. It's important. Excuse my bad spelling, it's 23:30 and I'm tired.
