Unfortunately, I also suck.
The head wobbles too much, yeh, I know. So, C&C?
Beginners, post your Flash animations here.

@ b0mb: It looks slightly better, but the main problem I see is that it appears you're only using tweens. Stick animations come out much better if you combine tweens with frame by frame animation. And easing. When the first stick figure appears he isn't just gunna go in one direct in the exact same position at the exact same speed till he stops.
I recomend you watch this.

Its a basic stick movement tutorial.
@ Noob: Thats actually really quite good. The head does wobble a little bit much, and Im not sure if its sposed to be like that, but he looks like he's doing everything without moving forwards.

@spleeko-for much of it, I am using frame by frame (if I have the newest version up, I may have forgotten)...the tweens are only at the start, and I'm not sure what to do there to touch it up. I will frame by frame it a bit more at the start tho, might be able to make it look a little more like physics work with it.
@robecor Thats pretty good, actually. I can't do backgrounds effectively at all.
@ noob doesn't look bad, keep at it (like the rest of us have to :P). Maybe a reference point. spleeko's right, he does look like he's standing in the same place for most of it.
edit: touched up the start. looks a bit better. keep an eye out for the cursor-it makes things happen http://www.truploader.com/view/549645

the bg is good for the most part, but the light looks a little too 2d, if you know what im sayin. And maybe a little small, considering there's no trees or anything there to shine through. wait, does that make sense to everyone else?

I think so...if you mean it shouldn't just be a ray, due to a lack of blocking. a massive improvement on the last one. the mountains in the distance look decidedly...in the distance too.

Interesting. was the resizing at the end intentional(probable), and will the poor guy get given a head to think with? :P jokes aside, fairly smooth.

thanks yeah I am going to give him a head later. The resizing was intentional, I didn't feel like making him have to jump all the steps! The poor guy.
