ontopic: if your going to do brush, use a pad? if you havnt got one its a bad idea. i dont animate brush, because i cant do easing (my biggest secret lol). if anyone has an easing tutorial, ill be very gratefull.

Particles look like they dissapear to fast. The punches need more anticipation. Walk was okay. Keep it up.

There is no way to legally get Adobe Flash without making an Adobe Account. In my opinion, it's not that hard to put in "LOL" for all of the silly requirements, like company and name.

I think there should be more frames of the arm swinging forwards right before the beam. I also think that the parts of the beam should move away from the initial blast as they are breaking.

yeah, i thought the same on how the beam should move away from where it was blasted from. Anyway, didnt want to put much of interest in the stick.

Is it good for a first beam though?

lol, a crappy test that I thought fit here way more than in it's own thread:
http://www.swfup.com/file/28141

I know it is sloppy, but I am using lowest smoothness setting, so that I can get used to drawing in flash, then slowly using the smoothness.

Yes, it is good for a first beam. However, your 2nd beam must be better!

That was actually pretty good. There was some nice easing in there. However, the way it seemed he curved his fist inwards after he threw the punch seemed a little awkward. I suggest you straighten his arm out a little bit, and it will look much better.

I dont know what it is, but it seems more correct to myself if his arm curves slightly. I wont redo anything of that test, but I will keep in mind that your arm doesnt curve like that with any other tests I do.

sorry, but that was so lazily done. You deformed the stick as much as possible to avoid the tedious task of making him maneuver through it, and that is all I see. anyways, here is a little weird fish I made:
