My old crits still stand - the more recent basic stuff is much better than the old stuff with all the effects. Work hard on the basics and go up slowly.

Try animating a stick man jumping forward with the floor tremouring as he lands. That's a good type of animation with plenty of opportunity to demonstrate that you can use easing and physics appropriately and that you can use simple effects like tremour. It also requires good fluidity and will show if you can get the anatomy right. There's actually a surprising amount of technique to use in a jump. It should look something like this (or better) at the end:

i know the ball physics are trash, that shit looks like its floating roflrofl and the jump sucks, anything other then that plz crit :D

i really think your knees should bend more, also at the end put less frames because it look as if hes placing his leg down

There was a bit of choppyness.
In the somersault, it didn't look like you moved every joint in every frame.
And just for aestetics, When you do a screen change (sudden zoom in and crap) Put in a black frame.

edit: also drummer, it looks like he jumps super duper high, then when u zoom out, hes like 2 inches above the floor lol..

dopeness, u said ur jump and ball physics were bad, which they were xD but if you knew that then why didnt u finish it and make it better instead of getting people to only talk about the good bits in a animation??

heres mine with the unchecked merge and frame delay 6 and shrink on 2 and its all sped up! i think its better with just leaving it tbh

Uneased, stiff, punch was choppy, jump was choppy, run was wrong, gravity and physics were off.

@Rozzer: good that you got the settings sorted out. Now you'll have to make less difference between each frame and that'll get rid of the choppiness. The physics were off on the flip becuase you're rotating him around the wrong point. You need to try to work out where the centre of gravity would be and that's where he rotates around. On the run, you need to extend the legs slightly more in both directions. You're getting better.

I did this before i read ur comments so the same things will probally still be wrong but its my longest and i like it, there are bits which are unrealistic but i just didnt know what else to do xD

Pretty much the same as before... But i encourage you to look for some walking running tuts, they will help heaps. Also an easing tut, it will make your sticks look more realistic when jumping, punching ect.
