@tobbe save it as a gif file, go to imageshack: http://www.imageshack.us/
copy the direct link, go to advanced reply, click the picture button and paste the link in
@Arkehy, its perfect, i don't know what to CC on
@water12, your right no easing, dont do those long animations do tests of easing, walking, anticipation, non stiffness, running, etc

EDIT: @Arkehy, the reason you animation is slow is the unchecked merge and frame delay

Hey, from the C&C I got, I tried my best to work it in the loop test...

Sorry, when I uploaded it, it slowed it down a ton... Please C&C

I dislike your back leg. You need to keep that back leg flowing - bend it more before bringing it forward.

I made this just now as an example of what I mean (cc anyone?)

(Edit: Now I look at it, I'm a couple of frames off with the easing on the front arm. Oops.)

You download pivot and then you open pivot. Follow tutorials if you need more specific advice.

@monkeyman, make a walking loop

what do you want him to be? straight up?

EDIT: @tobbe, try adding a floor it helps with shakyness

Tobbe, you need to try to keep the upper body more still. Also, take more frames - about eight to ten per stride - and focus on lifting the foot up and placing it down properly. Then make sure that the one sliding backwards does so at a constant speed.

Edit @phoenixslayer: he doesn't have to be straight up, just mostly upright. Again, if you look at my example that's about the level you're aiming for at these speeds. The faster you're running, the lower you can get away with.

Edit2: I'm bringing this to the front again to try to get some cc.

@Tobbe again: It wasn't the worst first I've seen. I think the best thing is that you didn't try to go straight into a long story like so many others do.

What you need to do now is, on top of all the other advice so far, click file -> create figure type. Then build your own stickman - the base one looks bad. You can also use that function to make yourself a floor which will help a lot.

@PS: I don't see it. The upper leg doesn't move much for a few frames but that's just easing - it does move a bit still.

Hey Zed, I don't really grasp the idea of the back leg flowing through so... tell me if I didn't do that again.

Please C&C
(Errr! Still slow!!)

Zed:
Everything looks A-Okay, but to me the forearms look like they fling up...

thats a nice run, also for slowness, did you leave merge checked and lower frame delay?
