Quote from izacqueRival, try this:
Make the stride before he jumps a little higher. swing the back leg forward a little faster than normal (have fun easing that ;) )he should land with his feet very close to each other and he should follow through to a crouch. then, SPRING!!! have him extend his legs as quickly as easing will allow. the somersault is ok other than easing (which you already know)
Ah yes, that would make it look good, thanks. >_< pain for easing.
I hope I've answered your question, I have a clear picture in my mind, but It's hard to say in words.
nightblade, please stop telling people things are good. I don't know if you're just tying to be nice, but unless an anim is flawless, please don't call it good.
EDIT:
I plan on making an anim with this spear. Is the tassel done right? and plz comment my easing.
the spear is a bit too blunt to kill, make it sharper.
The easing was pretty good, but not perfect.
and I got hardly any crit here. tell be about easing, force, physics:
The ending was unnecessary. It was well eased, but the legs look weird. Just like phoenix you try to avoid having them at the same spot. Don't. In real life you also have the legs in one line.
And to be honest if you want to make an upperpunch, you don't punch straight. And if the enemy is too small, you don't do an upperpunch at all.
If it wasn't an upperpunch, then you should add more force, and make him move forward. (though I'm pretty sure it was, right?)
