yes there is actually, where i downloaded pivot it said its a 2d program so its not made for 3d(ill try to come up with proof)

True, but you can make it, so it CAN be used for that aswell. But it's so much trouble going trough it, that the creator said: This is 2d,not 3d.

that didnt relate to your question and i know you can make it but its a 2D program, flash can be in 3D but pivot cant because "yes, it's pixelated, so infact you shouldn't."

Its like really stiff every where maybe try lookin for some easing tuts or just look up all the basics hope it helped

thanks for the advise! those were some early experiments - here is a completed project:


i messed up on that last part, tried to make it unnoticable

(man the delay made it slow...... it was much smoother in editing)

dont put in any delay and no slowness problems will arise, second, i would throw in a floor, it helps a ton, but its still stiff, do simple ball tests like easing(easing is this ||-|--|---|----|----|---|--|-|| heres an example:) try it :3

Yeah, I never said it couldnt look 3D, I was just implying that if he tries, he would most likely fail. Pivot is a program made for 2D animations, it can look 3D though, same as flash, although flash supports gradients, blurs, glows ect, which can mean creating the effect is easier.

Something like 3DSM uses 3d meshes and dynamic lightsources, which imitate 3D conditions, so its alot easier to make it look 3D.

Nothing on a 2D display screen will ever truely be 3D. But yeah, im kinda stating the obvious.

Back on topic.

CarnivoreAJ: The bitch kick in your signiture is truely epic. Although it is poorly animated and defies physics.

Rival: I love those animations, like the one you posted above. Look at hard enough, and you can trick your eyes into into seeing it spinning in the other direction. I even made the arms and legs spin the the opposite direction. Silhouettes <3
