Quote from CadeYou need to ease it more. Try moving more joints. Also the most blood splilled out should have been when he hit the tip of the rock.

My first walking cycle animation, I'll try to improve, I can tell the head and neck are a bit glitchy during playback.

Ok, everyone who's posted in this thread in the last two pages needs to read this: http://www.stickpageportal.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1582585#post1582585
Memorise it. Understand the principles behind it. Follow the links to other more detailed tuts and do the same there.
Edit: Actually, blader might be ok, but I suspect you'd benefit from this one: http://www.stickpageportal.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104748
Could use a slightly shorter stride and a bit more smoothing on the loop. Maybe a little less movement on the arms. Not too bad, really.

Thanks for the help and definitely thanks for the tutorial. (I read the first one, never even saw the second.)
EDIT:
Done, a little less of a "powerwalk". In essence, lazier.

Nightmare. Please please please read this: http://www.stickpageportal.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1582585#post1582585
Please.
@Blader: No problem. The legs are much nicer on that one, well done. The arms shouldn't be too hard as long as you remember to only move them a little each frame.

If you read Zed's tutorial, he said to get rid of that freaking base stick. Imo it's horrible, just because it doesn't have a mid-torso joint you can animate for being punched, impaled, kicked, or falling. I honestly think you should download the droidz mega pack, or make your own unique stick. Like me (even though mine was thoughtless and quick. "Spikes? Ah, yes spikes are cool!")
Edit: sorry Zed, didn't see your post. Anyways, thanks.
Edit2: New Walk! Best one yet! I love it! The back hand is still retarted. I'll try to fix that.

The camera movements are actually very nicely done. The sticks themselves are still a little stiff though.
As for the speed thing, you could try blurs and fades.
Of my own work, here's a five minute piece, put in here for fun.

I'm not too fond of the top right brick but the rest is fine, I think.
