you can go out of the beginners section I believe, you have almost everything to be high beg. I believe the only thing that should be done better is easing. It's more of a stop, pauze, stop with you.

Hmmmm, animatorshall? never heard of it. But yeah I love your animation, it's well eased, it's not stiff, and it flows nicely. You should make more. :)

Maybe that's why they aren't good. It should take you 20 minutes to make nice test with easing and smoothing. But it took you 10 minutes to make 4 animations, that lack easing and are very stiff.
Jan 22, 2010 11:28 AM #539616
Thanks for the CC. But are you sure they're very stiff? I didn't think they were... Well, after I'd played them through a few times and they'd loaded properly, I didn't see much stiffness. Well, I saw a bit, but I wouldn't call them "very stiff"... But then again. I'm a noob.
Jan 22, 2010 11:30 AM #539618
You're thinking that stiff = choppy? nonono.
Look at the run loop. Do you see the back moving? That's called stiff. The back should move constantly. Every joint of the body should be moving when your doing a walk or a run loop.

Oh, thanks for clarifying the definition of stiffness. :)
But the back moves at least a little every single frame.. The little orange ball doesn't, but the back joints do.
