Zed, I took your advice on making a more basic animation (ball/walking physics)... only took me 15mins so here it is....

Ok. What you need to do is add easing to simulate gravity. The ball needs to gradually get slower (smaller spacing) as it goes up and gradually get faster as it goes down.

I see what you mean but he is meant to put power onto the ball so thats why it accelerates faster.

Now, the only thing I need to do is a walk. Which, I think is quite hard to do (for me)

@Hedgehog: Look at this example of a walk. just look at the legs. I didnt do anything with arms. Image I put it slow so you can see what i mean.

Study that.
I've been told by N T that is is a smooth ass walk.
So i think its worthy of studying.

Your steps must flow together or it's like taking one step. Stopping. Taking another step. Stopping.

If I may?

Yes, but the speed still needs to change in the air.

I Couldn't do it in one walk (with the arms and legs) So, I put it in two different parts.

Legs:

Arms:

Tell me if i need to change anything. I'll try and do a walk in one part in the morning. :)

Erm. On the walk, his back leg is bending the wrong way.

Also, I made this to show how a ball could have force but still change speed. Please excuse the poor quality; it's the most rushed piece I've done in six months. I should, for instance, have kept some of the leftwards momentum at the end. It still has the easing, however, and that's the essential bit I want to show you:

The legs are smooth. The only problem with them is that one of them bends the wrong way, breaking the guy's knee.

The arms are quite jerky. Try to keep the spacing consistent over each frame.
