Never run with the arms straight back. I've never seen it done well, and I cannot imagine any way to do it well, so I conclude that there is no way to do it well. Other than that I think you'll just improve with practice. Watch out for little bits of shakiness and try to keep your animations bouncy.

What Javelin said. That bottom one was really nice, possibly because you focussed on the movements rather than the effects. It didn't seem as stiff and it flowed really nicely with no real shakiness.

Easing, that's gone out teh window, Same with footeh placement, and followed by a unrealistic jump.

What happened to the last animation in the above posts?

Watch your foot placement and don't let anything shake. Even when you're just testing one part of an animation it's good practice to make the rest look good too.
