You don't just slide the stick. If you want that person to punch the other one, you should start from a run going to the other then block. Try to add more frames, flow and easing. And practice the punch, the block, and the throw. :)

when the stick men walked, their legs just wobbled back and forth. or is that a run? I dunno. but if it is and he jumps forward, then take a look at this anim i made:


see the long stride that he takes to get ready for the first jump? His arms also swing as the legs move. I'm not saying you have to do the jump and run like that, but this is just an example. On the lunge he just hovers over the ground with a completely still posture

remember this: Always move every limb in each frame

for example:


even though this stick man is jumping very high, I still had every limb move

try to work on the basics first, i will cnc everything else later, k?

Easing, Zed did a sick tutorial a few million years ago. No-one posts in the tutorial section though so it shouldn't be hard to find.

I can't walk properly. Maybe I made it too close. Should be more apart?
