Representative Couch says he filed the bill in hopes of cutting down on online bullying
I chuckled at that.
Who the hell is so insecure that even online they can't take abuse? Abuse in the form of arial. As people get richer, the world gets dumber.
*Edit* I forgot to mention; Idocracy has been taken to a whole new level.

Online Bullying is the ****ing dumbest thing that was ever said. It's even worse than the "Killergame" debate we have over here.

You can e-bully people and know who they are.

It's funny how people who barely understand what the internet is try to regulate it.

Over at my old school there was some pretty serious facebook bullying going on. Like 50 people agreed to go to this guy's account and write negative stuff on his wall. Fore some reason he didn't like it at all. I guess it can really hurt if the bullies are irl acquaintances.

If we have to register, we could just make fake bullshit up anyway. so it doesnt even matter.

Yeah, may cut down online bullying.
And raise the chance of Rape.
Which one is more important? You decide, sir president Bush.

This is a very silly idea. How much will it COST to implement this crap on the millions of forums on the internet? How will they even ENFORCE something this enormous?
Sounds like a huge moneysink, brought to you by socialist-in-republican's-clothing and newbie House member Tim Couch. Maybe a little common sense will kill this one, aye?
EDIT:Agreement with Shanto. Stalking and spying will be FAR easier with this. It's like we're trading dog vomit to get horse vomit.
