9:57 long, used about 30 different synths and 40 different patterns.
This is going on an EP I'll be releasing for free soon here and to other sites, including Demonoid. I'm also going to be sending it to labels to get their opinions.
The EP will include a radio edit, a club mix and a remix by Uberschall, so it'll be worth your time when I release it by the end of this month, hopefully.
C&C appreciated on this, in the mean time.

You can sell it with us to SPP for 60% of the profits.
Of which there may well be none.

I never really liked your songs, but this one is actually good. I don't like the climax in the middle of the song, I see what you tried to achieve, but it completely changes style and doesn't seem to be a part of the whole song.
And that bass beat thing seems to sound a bit distorting, is that on purpose? If yes, you should get rid of the distortion.

What's wrong with the distortion? It's a pretty typical trance bass sound.
Sorry you don't like the climax, or any of my other music. Thanks for the feedback though

It just sounds bad in my ears, it would be more fitting in electronic music, it might sound good in trance too, but not in this specific song.

Hm.. well, I don't have much intention of changing the bass.. I think it works well with the mix later on in the song. If there's no upper end to the bass it usually sounds like someone put a pillow over the speakers, I was going for clear production here
Anyone else?

I in a way agree with Benja here, the pitch of the bass threw me off a tad bit, but I adapted to it so its fine, might wanna tone it down a bit though.
All in all, this is an excellent piece, may I ask what program you used? Currently I use Fruity Loops 7, I only have the trial and I plan on purchasing it, can you suggest something else or is Fruity Loops worth the investment to make a full length composition (a 3 or 4 minute song)

I use FL Studio 8 Professional XXL Edition. I don't know if it's worth the investment if you don't plan on using it religiously, though, it's worth a lot of money.
I also use a LOT of synths, which is how I get all the sounds. FL has little to do with that

To be dead honest here, music was never my speciality, and I have no clue how to use a synthesizer or where to download it from. Or even if you can download it or if you have to buy the real deal... God I feel uneducated.
To get a grasp of FL would I have to do it nonstop, or is it possible to learn the basics and still make quality pieces. I'm not using it to make a full composition, I just want to use it to make a solid beat found in "We like Sportz", a song by The Lonely Island.
